I can't eat, can't sleep, and have extreme anxiety.

I close my office door and sit here with the lights off until it's time to head home to watch the games. My boss thinks I have a drug problem.

A lot of people are in the same boat, myself included.  Is there any other sport besides baseball that does this?

All sports do.  But probably not football.  I can’t imagine football being that exciting.

Kirby is barely needed and is he the weak link?

Gotta think he is instructed to let it all out for an inning or two.  Would not surprise me to see them go to Spier when they reach Varsho.   Though maybe they save Spier for that lane later.

May be go Springer, Lukes, Vlad, Varsho, Kirk, Clement, Barger, IKF, Jiminez.

Then hard to get the Spier a good lane, either has to face Vlad or Kirk and Clement,

If I'm Dan Wilson, I'm super aggressive with Kirby if he shows any weakness. I force the Jays to have to score runs off of Woo, Munoz, Brash, Bazardo and/or Speier to beat me. I try to ensure the Jays have virtually no path to scoring more than three or four runs, max.

For the Jays, they will be extremely reliant on Bieber. They don't have many options they can trust. Maybe Bassitt is a wild card if you need innings but he has pitched so little that I don't know what the faith level is there.

Successful and entertaining season, regardless of tonight’s outcome. Very appreciative of the work the organization has done to make this team what it is.

This!  When I was leaving the stadium after the opening day blowout, there is no way I thought the season would have a game 7 to decide if they go to the World Series or not.  I'm loving this!

Gotta get to Kirby early. If it becomes a game of bullpens, then the Jays are clearly at a disadvantage, and the game likely tilts to Seattle's favor. Have to hope the Jays can hit Kirby and/or Woo is still rusty (though not so rusty that he destroys knee caps). If the Jays are down or the game is tied late, then it's going to be a struggle with Munoz fresh for 2 innings.

I would imagine Vlad isn't going to get a single pitch to hit tonight, so the others have to step it up around him.

I'm not ready for this season to end. Let's get this win tonight, by any means.

Flip Barger and Varsho but I like that idea

Not going to get upset if they don't pull it off.  We were less than 15% chance to win this last week and they forced the game 7.

Yeah but we're here now

Want to win it :)

Very upset about Little, but it's in the past.

This team has played the best baseball since 1993. Surpassing all predictions.

Springer and Bichette are good again. Kirk is hitting again. Vladimir is looking like a megastar. Barger and Davis are establishing themselves as useful in MLB. Ernie has the best infield defense in the majors.

Cal Raleigh yesterday:

O-4 with 3K and a GIDP, plus a run costing throwing error. Could not have had much worse of a game.

Don't give him anything to hit in any big spots tonight. He'll be after some redemption.

Jays jumped Kirby early in the count because he throws so many strikes.  It will be interested to see what adjustments he makes.

I don't know if jerj kerby even knows how to not throw strikes

this feels like the most likely outcome. if there's even remotely any resistance first time through the order, kirby's not going to get to see vlad a 2nd time.

nervous because of how good their bullpen is but excited nonetheless. will always remember this as the greatest blue jays team of my lifetime (so far). go jays!

Kirby going to tell the media he wishes he didn’t have to play a game 7.  He already pitched last week.

I had forgotten about that lol

He really does seem like a miserable f*** when you hear him speak.

Highest K/BB ratio of all time (500 IP minimum) and it's not even close. There's a bigger gap between him and DeGrom (1.3) then there is between DeGrom and the next 30 guys on the list.

List is mostly recent guys though when you drop the IP requirement to that. Bieber is 5th, Gilbert is 6th.

Davis Schneider should start tonight and IKF should sit. Does JS have the gonads to effect this change?

No chance. If IKF were not hitting then there might have been a slight chance for a change, but he's BABIP'd his way to a .364/.364/.545 slash line in 12 PA in the ALCS with 0 strike outs (the latter means a lot to JS). Just have to hope his 73 mph rockets keep finding holes.

Bieber seems to have great vetrin presents which will serve him well tonight.

Backs against the wall in Game 3 and he's got 10s of millions on the line in Free Agency. He gave up that early bomb and he comes back into the dugout telling everyone to score some runs because he's going to shut them down from then on.

There are plenty more factors than having balls of steel, but in Game 7 that's not going to hurt.

I really hope we can find a way to sign him after, even if he bombs this game.

Let's go boys.  It all comes down to 1 game.  Need the offense to show up.

Why do you keep saying that? They've shown up most of the PS, we need the pitching to show up, if anything. I have faith in Bieber, mind you.

I think they need to start with Schneider in the lineup tbh. He gives you pop and slg, and that could be the difference in this game. They're going to bring in Spier for sure to try and neutralize the lefities too. Sub in IKF for defense after a couple PA's.

“I shouldn’t even have started this game. Give the ball to Woo. Im tired this week”

He didn’t look happy when they showed him.  He was hoping to take a week off and get a dodgers game.  Since the jays don’t strike out much he probably fairs better against them.
