Blue Jays Discussion Thread (2026)
SpencerBateman replied to Ryu In My House's topic in Toronto Blue Jays Talk
Facebook says we are getting Teoscar Hernandez. I remember Facebook used to just show me posts my friends did, now I don't see any of those posts. Just random accounts posting stuff about that we are getting Aaron Judge. -
We go from Tyson/holifield matchup last year to washed up UFC fighter beating up random bums on the street. Very disappointing mlb
-
Been on the brewers bandwagon ever since they got the dodgers matchup and Sam Diego was kicked out. It feels good to have your team finally win after 33 years.
-
down 2-0 to Seattle too
-
Get it over in 4 so we can get to trading for Aaron judge, maybe we get misiorowski and Facebook AI post I saw said we might get Bo back. Assuming everyone else goes back to 2025 stats we could be making the playoffs. Sign Springer to a deal $0 base $500k per home run $1.5m for every 100 OPS points over .500ops and $10k for every PA over 300 call it an offseason

Congrats Milwaukee on first World Series
-
Congrats Tampa on first World Series
-
Congrats brewers on first World Series

I was at the lowest attendance game in blue jays history. April 17, 1979. I was also at the 2nd lowest attendance game against the orioles in September 2009. I wore a blue jays hat the JFK airport. I sent Carlos Delgado love letters.
-
I kind of miss the dodgers being in the World Series.
-
I’m not waiting until Friday to watch World Series. This is ridiculous
-
Wow this is embarrassing for Cleveland
-
3x the rays payroll. We gave our franchise player 500m and he may be a negative war player in a couple years. Their franchise player turned out to be a sex offender and they got out of his 9 figure contract. They are going to win a World Series before us (since 98)
-
I like the brewers no matter who makes it there but would have like to see the dodgers lose in the finals.
-
Well looks like we did it. Back to the World Series. No way we lose 2 in a row
-
It just feels off watching poor teams this far into the playoffs
-
I’m not mad.

One concern is how hard it is to do a name change. The admin was nowhere to be found when the time came. I was trying to leave my past behind and move on anonymously but members here have already found out who my old account was. Which is a big breach of trust honestly. there was that time you forgot to do the game day thread too
-
If you look on Reddit subs about half of the fans are done watching for the year when their team is out in a way it’s much more enjoyable to not be in it. I already have a constant severe pain in my chest from stress and get panic attacks daily and having to get through 3 playoff series last year was not easy.
-
How do these northeastern teams not have roofs. anyway. Glad Tampa is winning Indians are the sole reason we aren’t in the playoffs, I cannot root for them.
-
Dodgers are a joke. Hopefully the fan base is happy with those rings because they basically sold out their next 5 years.
-
Glasgow for elimination game? yea gg dodgers
-
I am embarrassed for the dodgers. Sad what they turned into. Ohtani decline was not gradual nor graceful
-
it could be Blake snell didn’t want to face the crowd at Tampa after selling out. Deep down, some sigfried and Roy type complex that I don’t fully understand
-
oh no snell 1 batter too many
