    For the record, I like the current format, including the lack of play-in games and the the 3 game WC series I think it's a good balance of enough teams makin it, yet still incentivizing teams to win their division

    Texas Rangers pitcher Jacob deGrom exited Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Angels at Angel Stadium after only two innings with right triceps fatigue. The 38-year-old has already battled hip/glute soreness for a month, but after a 32-pitch second inning in which he allowed two runs on five singles, he was replaced by rookie reliever Peyton Gray.
