It makes sense. Very hard to be good at everything but much more feasible to be really good at a few things. Also, hard to outcompete a more generic niche like "elite 4 seam fastball traits" I mean most of the league probably chases that. It helps to have a niche that is NICHE. Early opinions from me are not great as far as the offense goes. Contact ability so far looks good but not elite. This probably isn't a Kwan, or even an Ernie Clement etc. contact profile. The AAA walks look like they came from being passive. That won't translate strongly. Demonstrated power is very low. He might be closer to a .245 hitter, with just an average walk rate, and almost no power BTS mentioned it before but I think the absolute best thing you can hope for is Jacob Young, in other words the defense and baserunning NEED to be elite for him to be a starter otherwise it's a platoon piece
