These have gotta be the worst teams in the AL playoffs has gotta be the worst AL playoffs of all time. Think about the teams we played vs the dogshit we're watching these playoffs. Such a wasted opportunity for us :(

I realize what we are but id like to be optimistic about where this franchise wants to go. Then again, I know you guys will warn me to not go crazy when the offseason doesnt meet my expectations but thats the fun part about being a fan lol. I agree that he could be a trade chip to land us a 2B or corner OFer because we dont have too many of those currently. My point was that i just cant see this franchise making any moves this offseason because they want to get Keys playing time. He'll have to earn that the same way Barger did is by forcing the issue.

If the Jays were a rebuilding team, Keys could be given a chance but a team with world series aspirations does not account for Keys as anything more than a good bench bat/backup. Itll be on him to show more during spring training and the chances he does get to play before this team makes moves to account for him.

Ya they were bad, especially given youd expect better defense considering the noodle bats most of them carry. I was just making a comment on some simple ass defensive plays that you learn in middle school. Brownie outlined the 2 exact plays I was speaking about + Hoerner being 2 steps ahead of 2B on the stolen base that cost Gausman an additional run.

After watching the defense in these playoffs, maybe the Jays arent THAT bad that department lol.

The Jays dont need to go big game hunting for their rotation if they can land Gausman and Bieber. Just run a 6 man rotation in the unlikely chance everyone's healthy and go to a 5 man rotation if someone's out. God knows every one of those guys can use the extra rest. Now where they need to go big game hunting is for 2 bats and nothing less. Ive been calling out this major hole and hope they actually get it done this offseason. I think they'll finally address it so cant wait to see who those 2 will be.

Just gotta hope we get all our major work out of the way before the lockout. Then we can live with whatever new structure forces is yo gradually decrease our payroll
