    A lot of people on the field didn't know the rules. All the umpires and probably 99% of the players and coaches. What really blows my mind is how many people on the field didn't know how many outs. 2 baserunners, centre, pitcher and catcher for sure and I'm sure there were more.

    I know he homered today and his bat plays, but Pinango has got to be the worst outfielder I've ever seen at this level. He's absolutely terrible.

    As much as I chuckle about 20 something athletes getting tired I think there's some validity to this. It worked for the Raptors and Kawhi Leonard. And didn't the Dodgers rotate some guys through the IL last year to keep them fresh? That was the rumor anyhow. Apparently Vlad doesn't like being given an off-day but maybe he needs to learn to accept it. He's not exactly carrying the team right now so you're not losing much.

    The analysis by Caleb Joseph on Okamoto's 5th deck at bat was great. They need to show that to Guerrero and make him watch it over and over. Oak took 3 or 4 pitchers' pitches to get to one he could handle and didn't miss it. Vlad has been getting himself out all year on pitchers' pitches. Better swing decisions are all it will take to get him right IMO.

    The Yankees seem to bring out the best in Vladdy so here's hoping that the breakout starts tonight. BV is the team's most dangerous hitter right now so how about batting him behind Vlad and leaving him there for a while.

    I don't think they have any other choice unless he gets injured again. Corbin has been better and he's the only rotation lefty. Do you DFA SWR instead? And Yimi Garcia is close to returning so who goes then?

    Does anyone else feel like they're watching Brandon Valenzuela become a star right before our eyes? I know there's been many a young player that looked good early and faded away quickly, but this guy seems different. He has the build and seems to already have the power. He seems to have the ability to learn and improve at the big league level. This is a raw rookie who looks pretty polished at times. His skills behind the plate are already more than acceptable as well. He has lots of time to improve and he seems like he will to me. It should be a fun ride watching this kid grow up.
