I listened to that Fried interview. Dude definitely implied something. He said his stuff was good and he was hitting his spots and the Jays were just on all his pitches.

On rates and barrels they said he narrows his arsenal in the playoffs as a theory to why he has been worse in the postseason. 
 

Also, more a feeling than anything but alot of stuff seems down rather than up, and i feel like a lot of the jays hitters, that suits them.

I really didn't give much thought or pay attention to the roster that was named for this series. But on what planet do you include Bruhl (or whatever his name is) and not include Bassit??  There was thought put into this

Really no reason to have Bruihl on the roster, Bassit takes his spot. Even Nance hasn’t looked good, he could be another cut.

I'm still not sure if we see Bichette. If you get rid of IKF, assuming Bo can't play defense, which I think is a safe assumption considering he's barely started jogging, it really limits your flexibility. You would then have three guys who you prefer to be DH's. That's too many of those guys and not enough defense.

Bassitt for Bruihl is an obvious one. I don't think we ever see Scherzer again. We don't need five starters and I'd rather have bullpen guys over him coming out of the bullpen.

Best case scenario with game 5 lining up with the tiger and mariners aces.  Assuming we don't see woo back but I dont know.  ALCS game 7 is Oct 19 so if Skubal or Kirby goes 2x, last start would have to be short rest.

Looks like Woo would be back but we will see

I'd keep Nance over Scherzer, but I guess they may want that "veteran presence". IMO, Scherzer is absolutely washed. I honestly wish they would stop talking about his sage role in the clubhouse.

I'd feel fine with Scherzer, Bassitt, and Lauer being asked to throw a few innings against Detroit or Seattle. At home or even on the road in those big ballparks.
