    Used to have a dedicated thread for the draft. Now there is a dedicated thread every time someone farts Beck played his minor baseball where I’m from. He’s from a town of about 1000 people. He got himself to Indiana State and became the highest selected player ever from Saskatchewan It’s actually an incredible story. He never left to an academy, he played all his minor baseball with his hometown team. His academy was his dad and a whole bunch of country kids who just loved the game

    Agreed, such a stubborn move. It’s going to be like the Sentors with Brady Tkachuk. It’s been obvious he’s not extending and they weren’t good enough to be all in. They could’ve been building around McGonigle and whatever pieces they got back for Skubal and still spend the 30M or whatever he’s making on a rotation piece and be just as competitive
