He is looking really sharp! I thought he would be a May or June SP, but he may be ready right out of the chute. Nice surprise.

I wonder if this means we will try to ship Berrios out, if he starts off strong and we can find a taker, or maybe we ship out a disgruntled Lauer for something. Either way, I can't see Scherzer starting until May or June. It will be interesting.

This is sad new for me, personally, because I love him on the Jays broadcasts, but I am really glad he is taking time off to be a grandpa and golf as much as he wants.
