  1. I think it's more like Edwin's story. I will have to take a look at both players' histories to assess ;)
  2. Getting Wood Richardson for cash is a little shocking. But then I looked at his numbers. I still think he can be a decent pitcher. Maybe the lab can straighten him out. I like this acquisition, because the gamble is minimal, and the reward could be a young, serviceable SP going forward. Fix him Pete!
  3. And demoted. His fastball was like ~ 84 mph. Is he done? Still hurt?
  4. I've always been coached if the guy behind you calls you off, you lay off.
  5. Folks, I have been offline a few days - is Barger back today? Activated? According to MLB.com he is not in the lineup and no demotions have been announced. I've scoured and cannot figure out what is currently happening... Not that it matters, but I demote Schneider and keep Pinango up. I have a good feeling about the latter. The kid can smash.
  6. I'd love to be a few games over .500 by the end of May. That would go a long way to improving our chances.
  7. Interesting - had a decent 2025. Years of control left. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2026/04/blue-jays-acquire-lenyn-sosa.html
  8. He is looking really sharp! I thought he would be a May or June SP, but he may be ready right out of the chute. Nice surprise.
  9. I wonder if this means we will try to ship Berrios out, if he starts off strong and we can find a taker, or maybe we ship out a disgruntled Lauer for something. Either way, I can't see Scherzer starting until May or June. It will be interesting.
  10. This is sad new for me, personally, because I love him on the Jays broadcasts, but I am really glad he is taking time off to be a grandpa and golf as much as he wants. I would be ecstatic if he came back from time to time to do special games. I hope he continues to be in remission. Good luck, Buck. Love you, man!
  11. These are not the fWAR numbers of a very bad player when healthy...
  12. I would say 0% wanted him DFAed. I would say 30-40% would have been open to trading him for prospects at soem point.
  13. And ride all the rides at Six Flags.
  14. I wonder what a Varsho extension would look like.
