Well this is exactly why we traded for Bieber. To give us a high ceiling starter to throw out there for a game 7 situation. Beyond this obviously being the most important game the Jays have played in decades, this is also a critical game for Bieber.

He could make himself a bunch of money by coming out and slamming the door shut on the Mariners.

He's going to have to keep having good games as his last start will be his season and potential contract defining game, considering he hasn't played alot this year and has had a mix of good/bad games.

Not going to get upset if they don't pull it off.  We were less than 15% chance to win this last week and they forced the game 7.

Two of the good organizations of the 2020s having their best year of the 2020s.  Not much to choose from between these teams.    First game 7 in 40 years.  Second game seven in Blue Jays franchise history.  First in Mariners.

The come back kids being doing it all year. Winning today would be fitting of their season so far.

All in all im pumped for today's game. Win or lose today in the ALCS game 7 is unreal considering the predictions for this team all throughout the offseason and early season.

This team has brought real joy back into my life watching baseball, and has made my little son in a baseball fan. Priceless

All hands on deck

Need to meet the pressure of the moment.

Mariners made 3 errors last game. Nerves got to them. But they may not screw up again today.

This Jays team is the best since 1993.  They already surpassed the 2015 team.

I think he gets 25MM AAV but on a shorter deal, maybe 3 years. Yea by WAR alone it'd be a bit less, but he's kept the walks down. Depends how much you think all the HRs given up are fluke or trend. Some team will say fluke for the high ceiling

That is awesome man!  It's the same with my two young sons - they are ride or die with this team

I expect that Vlad won't get many hittable pitches tonight so it's important that Kirk and Varsho step up.  Hopefully George is healthy enough to be a factor tonight.  If Springer and Lukes can get on base Vlad may get a pitch or 2.

Hoping Bieber can take another step forward and be a beast.

100 wins is great.  101 would be better.  But 105 would be a party!

How built up is Woo? How many pitches can he throw?

Feel like they will go with Kirby but with a very quick hook, and Woo is the next guy. Munoz is probably good for two innings today. If they don't get to Kirby and Woo is good, that means the key to the game might be to run up Woo so the Ms have to use some other relievers in the middle innings.

They may be reluctant to use Woo on 2 days rest coming off an injury but it's game 7 all bets are off.

The hook will definitely be quick as we haven't done much against their bullpen.

Gotta strike early.  I don't like our chances to get to Munoz in the 8th and 9th.

Seattle must almost be tempted to go full bullpen game

Munoz - 2 IP
Brash - 1
Bazardo - 1
Speier - 1 (try to give him for the Varsho-Clement-Barger lane)
Woo - 2 or 3 IP

Kirby is barely needed and is he the weak link?

2 innings of Munoz definitely looms large in this game and you're right to question Woo. He's only thrown 2 innings since September 19 so it's hard to know what to expect out of him.

Hopefully we can threaten Kirby early, they pull him quickly in a big spot for Woo and he blows up due to rust and inexperience.

He was weak last start but he's a good pitcher so it may be too much to ask that he s**ts the bed again.  Pressure does different things to different people though.

Ms fans seem to think Woo won't go more than 2-3. I think we see:

Kirby for 3-4

Woo for 2-3 (with Speier or Brash bridging to Woo if Kirby leaves with runners on)

then Munoz for a couple

My nerves are shot! It's so hard to watch. I'm literally at the radiology place doing testing on my heart right now. Kinda crazy that it was scheduled for today! Probably gonna have some crazy off the chart readings. Also, it was my son's 17th birthday last night. Here's a pic of his cake! I'm sure the cake place in Mariner country loved seeing that order come in! :)
