    A random October Wednesday late night in 2015, the missus was out and the kids were in bed so I opened a beer and put one of the sports channels on the TV here in the UK, not expecting to find much on. A choice which changed my life, as I knew little about baseball but sat and watched engrossed as a truly bonkers spectacle of game 5 of the ALDS unfolded before my eyes and hooked me on this wonderful club. Let's go Blue Jays!

    Raising the floor of the team this season has been just as important as raising its ceiling and he's been an important part of that. Props to the guys like Straw, Clement, Lukes...they are the backbone of the team.

    Had to turn off the tv when we were 2-1 down as it was 2.30 am and every time I’ve watched we’ve lost. So glad I did…watched the rerun this morning and read this thread and I think someone was cutting onions… WE’RE GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES BABY!!!

    Thank you guys (or otherwise) Read this thread front to back while I was 'at work' today and it's truly heartwarming... I was too knackered and nervous to stay up and watch the game live last night but had the biggest smile on my face when I saw the score this morning... absolutely delighted for all of you. More games to win yet...who knows? GO JAYS GO! PS...I'm going to claim at least partial credit for the juju hex on Chas Jizzum
