Yankees fans are terrible, shocker

Common narrative is that it's 99% gambling degenerates. It's happening more often to all players as online gambling becomes more prolific.

MLB and the gambling sites need to sink some of those billions back into enforcement to ban for harassment. And prop bets especially should just be banned outright.

If you did player props on Yesavage for his last start, you probably made money and would be thanking him haha. The O/U for K's were probably 5.5 for that Game #2 of the ALDS and the Yankees were heavy favourites with Fried on the mound.

Pottstown PA, where he's from, isn't that far from New York. It's probably people from his old school who are harassing his family because he beat the Yankees.

I mean it's possible but I feel like Yesavage might have given a bit more context if that were so. Whereas with gambling they can't say anything negative when they are such a big sponsor. Also, other players and their families have faced this kind of harassment over gambling losses.

Also possible that it's some of both. Yesavage was trash talking Boston a bit if I recall. But if I had to bet on it, mostly gambling (pun intended)

Just don’t let us win tomorrow

Can be like the Yankee fans....  if we even win one gotta go on social media and be like 'listen Mariner fans...  I like you guys... I really do... but we told you not to let us win...  Now Louis Varland starts tomorrow followed by Brandon Little... its over.  Its really over.  You shouldn't have let us win."

If you are 32 years old this week or younger you have never seen in your life time the Toronto Blue Jays win game 1 or game 2 of an ALCS.

Last time they did that was October 6th 1993.  Chicago White Sox and big Frank Thomas went down 0-2 at home.  White Sox did get it back to Chicago though.

Last time Toronto won an ALCS game 3 2015.  A game 4 2016, A game 5 2015.  A game 6 1993.  A game 7. NEVER.  They have never won a game 7 in any round.  The Toronto Blue Jays have never won a game 7.  No one living or not living has ever seen that.    If it is your 40th birthday this week or you are older than 40 you have been alive for a Toronto Blue Jays game 7.  Otherwise you have never even seen one.

if we win tomorrow and they let us back in, we got (unannounced) Thursday and (bullpen?) Friday, then game 6 anything can happen with our ace on the mound.

WTF man, are you bored or something? Make like a tree and f*ck off!

How are we feeling about Max being tabbed as the game 4 starter?

Fine.  We knew he would start a game.  3 games in a row, can't risk a bullpen game (we may still get one but can't have 2).  Hopefully we go in 2-1 because Max is due for a good game and he's had some time off to deal with his back issues.

The series is either over anyway or no one was expecting to win three in a row in Seattle anyway.

I feel like it could actually work in that Ballpark. He’ll give up a lot of loud outs for sure

I'm all for it

Can't do another BP game and Bassitt was just used in relief.

I'd love to see what he can do on this big stage right now

I like this. I think he might surprise us.

The long ball has been his biggest issue this year.  T Mobile suppresses homeruns so hopefully it plays well for him.

My reasons for hope as this series shifts back to Seattle with the Jays down 2-0.

1. The Jays are built for T Mobile way better than the mariners are.  It suppresses homeruns.  The long ball has arguably been the Jays pitching staffs biggest weakness this year.  The jays offense is far less reliant on homeruns than the mariners offense is.  I like our chances of stringing together hits much better than theirs.

2. Jays fans coming down in full force from BC.  We've seen many instances where T Mobile plays more like a home game for the Jays.  I know it won't be quite the same int he playoffs but hopefully lots of you west coasters have procured tickets and make your presence felt!

Momentum is a funny thing.

If we can grab another one tomorrow, it's a brand new series. Hopefully today is a sign that we've got our rhythm back offensively and not just a one off.

I have not been a believer in Max Scherzer at this point in his career as some people here continue to be. I didn't want to see him pitch again. I hope like hell to be proven completely wrong about him.

Make a fool of me Max.

So you sit on a rubber fence, per usual.

I do think it's weird they are going Max over Bassitt

Makes me wonder if it's a secret "bullpen" game and we will see a lot of arms used

Maybe tell Max to air it out for three innings
