Tatis is not a good role model for Vladdy or the other young Jays players.

Pretty sure Vladdy had kids when he was teenager so the ship has sailed on that.

Imai will be posted on November 19 according to Boras. So the latest he can sign is 45 days later (January 3rd, I guess). Boras likes to wait out the market but hopefully this signing happens relatively quickly, otherwise it will be a month and a half of "no pitcher is signing until Imai does".

It is ridiculous that the small group of Toronto writers who get to vote on this stuff are contrarian trolls who hate the Jays and churn out slanted articles for hate clicks.

I'm a believer in Jimenez. His steamer 600 projections are pretty good. He seems to be a good defender at multiple spots. He has decent bat speed. I feel like there is a lot there to work with. I'd want him to be utility.

Wow that was a weird trade looking back on it.   Yunel Escobar and Jose Reyes were about the same age and actually similar hitters, but Yunel coming off of a down season and non-woke eye black.   Reyes was faster Yunel was a better defender and cheaper.   

I think the entire trade sucked from Blue Jays perspective in retrospect.   

I still think to this day that the turnaround in 2015 was less having Tulo and Price there and more NOT having Reyes butchering SS anymore.

Did you know his parents assembled and housed a team of 15 Dominicans for Addison to play with so he could get better.  I think his high school team wasn’t giving him playing time.

I'd be more worried about one of the most uncompetitive at bats i've ever seen against the cubs in the playoffs in a big big spot for tatis, than how many kids he has.

We have OF depth but no obvious starting CF candidate outside of Varsho. 

 

I don't see him being moved, defense up the middle will always be a huge priority. We just need to keep his bat pushed further down the lineup
