Jesus, is a nightmare out there, we're going to see a lot of Straw.

I don't like the idea of seeing a lot of Straw's bat in the lineup ugh.

These comparisons require consideration for the years/AAV required to sign them.  3 years $70M for Suzuki/Randy v. 5 years $150M for Jazz has to be factored in.  Of course I'm just making those numbers up, but it's a huge factor IMO.

If it takes 4 or 5 years to sign Suzuki/Randy and only 5 or 6 years to sign Jazz, then that favors Jazz a lot.

I don’t see any universe where Jazz signs with Toronto. He’s just not that guy.

Gonna go play in Cali or Florida IMO

Let's give Vladdy the brotherly love "Trea Turner treatment" on Sept 11th.

Hey Blue Jays fans, seeing our own crowd boo Vladdy at Rogers Centre recently was devastating. He is clearly stuck in his own head and struggling for power, but we know his generational talent. He needs a spark that a batting cage can’t give him—he needs to know Toronto has his back!

I propose a plan for our next home game on Friday, September 11th against the Orioles: When Vladdy completes his first at-bat, he gets a massive, deafening standing ovation regardless of what he does.

Let's do this to show appreciation for his past performance, recognize that he is doing his best, and drown out the hometown boos. Philadelphia did this for Trea Turner and it completely saved his season.

If you are going to the game on Sept 11th, please commit to stand up and cheer our hometown hero. Spread the word to anyone with tickets. There's plenty of time. Upvote, Upvote, Upvote! Let's pull our superstar out of this slump. Now is the time! If they make the wildcard, this will be the trigger to something big. Let's go Blue Jays!!!

Keys small sample of LF duty seemed to go well, they should give him a shot

What if we did this but instead of cheering we booed him?

Or everyone turn around and give him the silent treatment. He can still set a record this year, first ever player to hit a fan in the ass with a HR

Blue Jays Acquire José Rodríguez From Dodgers

No idea who he is but apparently LA were set to lose him as a minor league FA.  They do this quite a bit

What kind of loser cheers for biggest underperformer in the league. I mean, I’m not going to boo him but he certainly isn’t getting participation cheers after such a gutless season

Edwin Encarnación apparently found his wife with her lover at a river. A shootout ensued between Edwin and his wife's lover.

Edwin filed for divorce in a video that circulated yesterday.

Just asking, but is trying to kill someone with a gun an issue in the DR?   Like is EE going to jail for attempted murder?

This is the exact plot of a great Colter Wall song

That voice coming out of that human doesnt make sense.

Haha it's definitely a bit shocking at first. Great Canadian lad right there though, runs a black angus ranch in Saskatchewan and makes music on the side

So who comes up today, Tiedemann, Van Eyk or Dallas would be my guess, I'd take the former thank you very much, guess it depends on when guys pitched in Buffalo as well?

I’m full of dangerous dangerous hope

Just gotta be equal to the Gaurdians the rest of the season and hope the Os and Rangers keep sliding.

I really dont want to have to introduce Houston and the White sox into daily scorebaord viewing.

This is why projections are useful... they thought Kaz would play less and walk more, but pretty much nailed it.
