Yes, something like 5 years 200m. It's arguably better than Tucker 10 years for 400m. Signing Bregman shouldn't prevent Atkins to make a trade for Marte, Clement will play ss , and Jays defense will remain great. Or if can't get Marte, sign Imai, this will greatly improve the team, and we shouldn't worries, coz Berrios will be traded, Bieber he's no 100% healthy, so JS can use a rotation with 6 SP (Gausman, Cease, Yesavage, Imai, Bieber, Ponce) In fact if Atkins make few trades to dump salaries, we can get Bregman, Marte and Imai☺️

Bo signing with the Dodgers would be a terrible PR move. It would make him look weak. But if they offer a big short term deal because he can’t get his big deal it’s possible.

Really want Bo locked up, especially considering it seems we can lock him up to a reasonable deal.  Not sure how we'll address the closer role getting that middle of the order bat is priority number 1.

Closer isn't something you need to worry about right now.  

Ricky T might be the next Hader for all we know.  You add at the deadline if you think it's a major issue.

Lauer's the 7th Starter right now so I hope the team utilizes him better this year.  He was one of our best pitchers in every role we threw at him last year. 

We just forgot about him.  I saw 0 reason why he couldnt be our high leverage lefty from the bullpen if he isn't starting.

At this point I'm happy if they resigned Bichette, or signed Bregman, or traded for Marte. Any one of those and I'm fine if they leave it at that. I'm probably okay if they wait until the trade deadline to see how the bullpen is working out.

The Jays don’t have the expendable prospect capital to get Marte, so it’s really down to the 4 top FAs (Tucker, Bo, Bregman, Bellinger). 

I’d be happy if the Jays landed Tucker but I’ve kinda lost interest there. Looking at the list of position players in MLB history who have signed contracts for $300M or more, almost all of them are either sure fire future HOF’ers or will/could end up being borderline cases by the end of their careers (aside from Tatis who is likely done due to PED suspension). Tucker is a very good player but is also a corner OF, so less justifiable than someone who signed as a SS (Turner) or 3B (Devers). I really don’t see a $300-400M contract ending up aging particularly well especially since they’d want to intentionally bump up the years to lower the AAV.

I might be in the sign Bo camp at this point if Tucker’s ask is too high, assuming Bo’s price/term is more reasonable (6 or 7 years). I don’t think Bo will age well either but at least if he can handle 2B for a few years he should still be reasonably good value. If Tucker is going to end up short term, high AAV, then the Jays should be in on that, though.

I like Lauer because he basically will adjust to whatever role he is given and do it well.

That is a quality that is often undervalued but you need these type of players to fill gaps in the roster throughout the year.

Unpredictable injuries and players just abruptly s***ing the bed means those gaps in the pitching staff are always fluid.

I think the Jays have enough to get Marte. Joey Loperfido, Arjun Nimmala, Gage Stanifer, Jo Jo Parker, Ricky Tiedeman, and RJ Schreck. I'd call that a pretty decent list.

I think the Jays have enough to make a reasonable offer for Marte but I don't think they want a reasonable offer, they want to be blown away. Also I believe I read that they mostly want pitching back for him. 

I don't think many would trade Yesavage for him, straight up. And they'd probably ask for Yesavage ++
