lol - the ground rule double on fly's that hit that roof was a joke.

I opted out of my signing bonus because I'm a team player.

I am more concerned of BamBam Barger’s living condition.

But I bet Trey spent much for his entourage, hotel accommodations and flights.  Mom and Dad deserved business class seats from LAX back to Pottstown PA

cheap home run complaints should definitely be saved for:

Yankee Stadium RF wall scrapers
Fenway RF pesky pole pop fly homers
320 foot Crawford Box Jose Altuve specials

Honestly Fenway is the worst, they need to demolish that dump. I think all of the shortest homers ever are Fenway RW idiot zone

It truly is amazing at how garbage all of our division rivals stadium's are:

  • Yankees have a little league right field that they fill with a bunch of fat, foul-mouthed New Yorkers who think screaming at bullpen moves equals ball knowledge.
  • Red Sox play in an old dump with the Green Monster in right (kinda cool I guess) but that stupid pesky pole in RF
  • Orioles move the left field fence in or out each year depending on how many righties they have in their lineup
  • The roof flew off their dump of a stadium so they play in a minor league park with the same joke  dimensions as the Yankees

We dont even have Santandar man.  Imagine if we got 75% of the version from last year.  Then our lineup would truly be super stacked!

It's hard to believe that this team has scored as many runs as it did despite never featuring a full strength lineup at any point of the season.

The lineup for Game 6 is going to look the best it has in nearly 2 months.

Springer will be back and Bo is rounding into form after getting a few games under his belt.

  1. Springer
  2. Lukes (L)
  3. Vlad Jr.
  4. Bo
  5. Varsho (L)
  6. Kirk
  7. Barger (L)
  8. Clement
  9. Gimenez (L)

Would be great if Springer is back and Bichette can play a full game at 2B. Lengthens the lineup out significantly. There isn't an easy AB in that lineup for a pitcher. Even Gimenez is having great PA's.

Turns out Kevin cash knew Snell can’t handle pressure, it took everyone else this long to find out.

Also I didn’t see this posted but we have 100 runs scored this postseason and the record is 101.

At least if we don’t end up winning, we will have a handful of niche records broken

And Springer expected back for game 6 per Schneider

Snell's comments were very weird. Came off salty over crediting Schneider for jumping on him. Maybe if he didn't stay up until 4am playing video games he wouldn't have got his wakeup call on the first pitch of the game.

I'd flip Barger and Varsho. Varsho hasn't been bad or anything but Barger is locked in right now.

Yesavage has to be the in the top 5 of prospect rankings going into the winter I imagine or better, from all prospect evaluators going into '26 correct?

The Jays can't come this far and not win the whole darn thing. That would be pure torture in the off season given the current scenario. I'm just hoping this team has one more special game in them!  I still can't believe that back in July when the Jays were on a roll, I made hotel reservations in Toronto for the World Series week! My family laughed at me. My friends thought I was crazy. Heck, I thought I was a bit crazy too I guess, but I'm sitting here in my hotel room right now waiting for Game 6 that I booked back in July. I still can't believe it actually happened.

He was salty.

I mean I sort of get what he was saying, there was some bad defense behind him (which he wants to call out but knows he can't) and Davis actually didn't get all of that first pitch, but he went too far with his comments and really just came across salty.

I still don't want to face him again this series. When he went to breaking ball/change up, we really did struggle.

So we didn't need to big power bats this offseason?  Did we even need any? 😘

Haha lets not pretend like majority saw our offense being like this with no Santandar and vladdy being average for his standards during the regular season.  Regardless, I was wrong lol.

This offseason just bring back Bo at 2B, Bieber as a starter and 1/2 high end bullpen arms (1 being a shut down lefty). Easy peasy lol.

I have to give you credit for calling for the team to bring up Yesavage to act as a savior for the rotation as he's instantly produced ace level starts in the playoffs. With the Yesavage call up, Gausman rediscovering ace form in the later 60% of the regular season, Bieber acquisition and Scherzer getting healthy just in time for the ALCS the Jays suddenly had the makings of a really damn good post season rotation after largely being very pedestrian for the majority of the season.

It appears as though Vlad was dealing with several lower half issues that can partially explain the end of season struggles. He was hot as a fire cracker right before the hamstring issues popped up, and the bye was a godsend to allow him to heal up a bit. Hopefully they can bottle up whatever adjustments he made right before the post season as this version of Vlad is in competition with Judge as MLB's best position player. It's too bad WAR isn't calculated during the post season as it would be fun to see what kind of value Vlad has produced.

I just keep thanking our lucky stars that Yesavage wasn't included in some trade at the deadline this year. That would have been awful, no matter who we got!

Easily I think.  I'd have him higher than McGonigle.

I don't think there were any players available at the deadline that would have made the front office even consider trading Yesavage.

The Jays FO has been spot on with their prospect evaluations.  He wasn't getting moved.

Jays front office has been pretty good at moving on from prospects. Not many of them have really turned out to me much of anything. Possibly Simeon Woods-Richardson

It was clear that we needed somebody else, even after Bieber. Initially I had hoped that it could be Manoah. That was little more than a prayer that turned into a pipe dream quickly. Yesavage was it. Like he was IT! There was no else to turn. Amazing how that worked out.

I give them credit for having the balls to do it.

Yeah they haven't traded a single first round pick that is likely to be missed

Aren't the rays getting a new stadium? They shouldn't, they should move

I would probably rank Steib’s no-hitter above it, but it’s certainly the greatest post season pitching performance from a Blue Jays player.

Also, our starting pitching next year is looking decent. If can re-sign Bieber, we’d be looking at Gausman, Yesavage, Bieber, Lauer and Berrios. Sign a couple of depth pitchers and BP arms and things are looking really good. Hopefully Yimi comes back healthy next year.
