Gonna be hell trying to get tix. There was a fkn queue for the season tickets after the game lol

Not everyone has the $$$ for season tickets and WS tickets going to be expensive. I'm guessing close to $1K face value each seat for 100 and 200 level non-premium club seats.

Hoping I could at least grab one single for either Game 6 or 7 this morning.

Actually, has to be Springer

Arguably, it probably should have been Springer given the game winning homer.  Their numbers weren't that far off.

Flu again against Ohtani. Teo back to Toronto.

Will be fun to watch.

This is the fifth time since the LCS went to best of 7 in 1985 that one LCS has ended in a sweep and the other has gone the maximum 7 games.

The team that survived a game 7 won the World Series all four previous times, in an average of...4.5 games. Two sweeps (2007 and 2012) and two five-game series (1988 and 2006).

No Munoz here is shocking. This is the game right now. This is a prayer I feel a smarter manager would shut this down here. Please make the most of this. They boo'd you when you got hurt George. Make them cry!

We didn't bring in Hoffman for the top of the order in game 5 and it f***ed us. Lets make sure not bringing in Munoz here f***s them in the same way! Come on George!

Wilson said, "Here's my Little moment"

This is going to eat the Ms fans up for yeaaaars.  How have managers not learned by now, in this moment, in this spot, who you go with. After the first pitch to Springer all I could think was this is it - it's about to happen.

Not sure if this was mentioned in the buried pages earlier, but will say George Springer's HR last night definitely now overtakes Bautista's and EE's in my opinion! What an incredible moment to witness live in person!

100%  It sits #2 on the Blue Jays Mount Rushmore of historic home runs (and moments???).

And it couldn't have happened to a better human, a better teammate.  One 1 leg - Kirk Gibson/Freddie Freeman style vibes.  Simply incredible.

I was actually thinking about that Kirk Gibson moment when he came to the plate (I was a tiny little guy at the time but somehow I still remember that game).

Sensational man!

I understand the moment, it's Game 7 - Springer's Dinger literally put us in the World Series.  Probably is #2 on the list but I wouldn't take anything from Bautista's moment. I think most just remember the batflip but forget it was a 53min inning that lead to that moment.  There was 100% more intensity prior to the bat in my opinion.  Different type of team though, we lived and died by the bomb.

I have to admit - I had a moment last night before the game when I was considered being a grumpy f*ck all game like I was in Game 6 - purely because I didn't want to change a thing.  I decided against it.  Vlad didn't care about curses so why should I care about superstitions.  I wanted to be Mr. Positive all game long - always believing.  I spent the whole game pleading with my youngest son to remain positive as he's losing his mind in anger - unable to watch at times.  I told him over and over to believe in this team - to believe the unthinkable an happen.  That Game 7's are so rare in life that you need to stay engaged.

And then my absolute favourite player hits the biggest HR of his life.  I got to enjoy that moment with my baseball crazy family, including my 3 boys.  This is what life is all about.

We should all be sending Dan Wilson a thank you card this morning.

Moneyball version. That view from the catcher/umpire is unmatched.

I love our broadcast for Dan and Buck, but I do wish Sportnet would use this camera angle and the one directly across from the batter and close up more often.  They are great views of hits and homers.

Some insights from last night's pitching moves by Seattle:

Wilson first:

“Bazardo has been doing it all season long,” Wilson said. “And he’s been so consistent at it. He’s done such a good job all year. Felt really comfortable with him out there with the way he’s been throwing the ball, especially this series, and it was a good spot for him.”

“[Woo] had such a good outing there, and it was time to turn it over, we thought, to the leverage guys who are in those situations,” Wilson said. “That’s what went into that decision.”

On whether there was a thought of walking Springer to face Lukes with the bases loaded:

“It’s a tough call,” Wilson said. “It’s a tough decision. You don’t want to put that go-ahead run at first. And then that also introduces [Vladimir Guerrero Jr.] into the equation [hitting behind Lukes] if you don’t get the double play. The way we looked at it, we were going to go with George.”

Now from Schneider:

Schneider was trying to think alongside Wilson and what counter moves he had. The thought in the Blue Jays dugout was that Wilson might put Springer on first base and go to lefty Gabe Speier for the left-on-left matchup with Lukes.

In that scenario, Schneider would have had to pinch-hit for Lukes.

“That’s what I thought he was going to do,” Schneider said. “I didn’t know which way Dan was going to go in terms of strategy. But I love the fact that he kept the bat in George’s hands.... I’ll never count George out of an at-bat that means something.”

Interesting to think how that may have gone. Had they put George on, put in Speier to face Lukes, Schneider probably goes to Davis Schneider for the pinch hit opportunity. So many scenarios could have happened if those decisions had been made.

The only reason they didnt walk Springer was because there was 1 out and the likelihood of facing Vlad scared them more.  These are the effects of having a true stud on your team... Springer gets walked 100% in the regular season.
