Man, I've never owned him in Fantasy. I made an effort in one of the forum dynasties and was quickly rebuffed. Would be so much fun.

It was fun, no doubt, now the Reds are throating me with Drury and Ohtani-son. :P

I took over a BBDL in an act of charity and it happens to be the #1 team in the league

Not only do I have Shohei Ohtani but I have tons of other fun players like the resurgent Yusei Kikuchi, the intrepid Zac Gallen, and the electric Sandy Alcantara. Also Jackson Holliday who is the best prospect in the world. And one guy I have always loved and supported no matter what, Jarred Kelenic, and it just warms my heart to see him slugging like this.

Remember when connorp was trying to say his team was better, lol.

Kirby pitched a 1 run, 1BB, 7K complete game in a 1-0 loss, thanks for nothing today Phillies...:P

Thought they'd burn some relievers today.

At least they further silenced an offense that is hitting a putrid .227 with a 97 wRC+. Hopefully that trend continues against us.

That's quite a drop off, top 30-40 prospect in the game five years ago and released at age 26.

I had no idea how easily of a schedule TB had in April. Let's see how they fair in May with a much tougher schedule.

It seems like Tampa and Baltimore are always playing a s*** team.

Judge left the Yankees game earlier…might be hurt. Hip discomfort is the current official word

Ooof. Probably a result of that slide the other day, he looked like he might’ve been hurt but stayed in

Rooker is hitting .305/.417/.695 in 59 ABs, with 7 HR and a K/BB of 13/12.

Just a scorching hot April, or is he the next late 20s breakout power hitter?

Track record would suggest the former, but there’s always a chance of the latter.

9th percentile whiff rate would suggest there could be some holes in the swing that pitchers just aren’t fully exploiting yet as his overall K rate is really good. But his savant page is fully loaded with 75th to 99th percentiles in nearly everything else.

Saw deGrom is pitching for the Rangers tonight.

Would have been sick to have a Cole/deGrom pitching matchup, damn! Just missed by one day!

Castillo/Ray tonight is up there in terms of pitcher match ups too!

If it was Castillo vs. Gausman tonight, would have been great!

I just don’t understand WTF MLB is doing with scheduled off days on Fridays… Didn’t they do a Sunday last season also..?

They are really the worst league of them all between TV accessibility and growing the fanbase…

The most surprising teams in baseball:

Padres 13-14 minus 20 run diff --> playing like s***

Dodgers 13-13 plus 9 run diff --> SURPRISINGLY MEDIOCRE

Pittsburgh 18-8 plus 35 run diff --> LMAO WHAT

Cardinals 10-16 minus 5 run diff --> bad luck + surprisingly mediocre

The AL Central sucks but nothing too shocking there.

The AL West is a dogfight. That's fun to see, actually. Four decent teams.

The AL East is f***ing insane, of course. Ugh.

MLB scheduling is awful. There shouldn't be any off days on Fridays. Also, too many afternoon games on Wednesday. They should be reserved only for Thursdays.

White Sox are up there for me. I thought there was a chance they could bounce back in a weak division, but they have been worst team in the league level awful.

Padres have been huge underachievers and playing like s***.

Dodgers have been mediocre. They're not the same powerhouse in the NL West as they were in previous seasons. Dbacks are my pick to win the division.

I'm happy to see the Pirates off to a good start, though doubt it lasts.

Cardinals need to turn it around before they dig themselves too far of a hole. The Brewers and Cubs in the NL Central are for real IMO.

Fun to see the AL West competitive between four teams. Hope the Angels and Rangers can remain in it all season.

AL Central sucks. White Sox, Tigers, and Royals will be easy teams to beat up on.

AL East is a powerhouse. I don't think Boston finishes above .500, but would be something if all 5 teams finished above .500.

I would assume it is related to the Mexico series. Not that it is far to get there but maybe there are promotional events tonight or something?

I don't like the lower case S. It looks really weird, I don't think any other teams do that. The black looks a little strange too, but I like the blue and yellow.

That's pretty much exactly how I felt, the blue and yellow looks good, but the black...not so much. I didn't mind the lettering either though it could certainly be better. I like the high socks too

The lettering is based on the Seattle Pilots' font:

Are the Jays coming out with City Connect jerseys?

Not this year no. Cincinatti, Baltimore and Pittsburgh are still coming up this season though to add to atlanta, texas and seattle's unveilings. 20 teams so far in total (including those ones) have the city connect stuff out.
