    Barger had a pretty s***** August 2025 IIR.... He drank some of the same ju ju juice and sold his soul to the Devil along with Vlad and the rest of the team and was on fire end of season/playoffs. I would be very concerned about the sustainability of Barger to use him as one of your all in eggs in your basket to solve your offensive woes.

    Wondering if the Jays could pry Michael Massey away from the Royals for an efficient cost to play 2b? I have read some speculation that the Royals might trade him with arb year coming up and FA in two years.

    It was probably discussed here, but I was out of pocket yesterday. I noticed Vlad wasn't in the line -up for the last game. Was that to spare him from boos etc after the 0-4 game Saturday (even though they would never admit that) or "rest" or legit injury?? Thanks

    It appeared to me that they did crank up the volume of the walk up song.... I'm sure that was one of the mitigation bullet points once the Jay's PR team got their butt's in gear with this debacle.

    If you are or hypothetically were going to a game this weekend, do you: 1. Boo Vlad to send a message/or show you are fed up. 2. Cheer or Boo dependent on Vlad's specific in game results (i.e. hits into DP, HR etc). 3. Indifferent and will cheer only for Team accomplishments, but not specifically for or against Vlad. ??

    I seriously think Vlad will need to play for Team Canada next WBC to redeem himself to the fan base. He could do no wrong if he did that.... If he announced it in the spring, all will be forgiven in Canuckville among the casuals.

    Colt Emerson Cooper Prat Luis Lara Jackson Chourio Colt Keith Evan White Scott Kingery All paid before they did s*** in MLB. When you are under ~ 28 they are paying you for what they sure as hell hope you will do. In the case of guys like Witt, Acuna and Vlad, what they sure as hell hope you will continue to do with projections of improvement until at least your age 30 season at a minimum!

    I am not sure how much Barger will help the Jays, because I still don't know who he is. Barger had a very mid August and September which was over shadowed by his next level playoff performance. He was pretty crappy this year before the injury... So is he really going to be a sustainable impact bat, or more like a Randal Grichuk who was very hot one half of the season and colder than a witch's tit the other half...?

    He apparently sucks on D which is an issue the CWS had with him and getting his bat in the lineup. So, most likely DH until Springer gets back and then assess from there.
