Eovaldi pitched a CGSO for Rangers against Yankees, 113 pitches.

After no-hitting the Rays for 6 innings, Sox give up 10 runs in the 7th.

f***ing Tampa man.

Padres hitting .215 this year so this game was a nice step for them. I'm not judging teams by average or anything, but that just can't be fun to watch. Same as the Mariners hitting .222, they just seem super boring to watch for a good team.

How do you think they know he has inflammation? lol

Well I’m an internet message board Sheriff not a doctor but I would assume inflammation can be diagnosed without an MRI?

Seems like it’s often the case where elbow inflammation and a forearm strain are diagnosed but an MRI later reveals something more serious.

lol... Nah man, they don't have x-ray vision, the MRI reveals the inflammation, a 2nd MRI might be done after the rest period, though that could reveal worst news as in a tear/strain, etc... :P

Did Charlie suggest they should bunt their way back into the game in the 8th inning?

I wonder how bad the Angels are going to f*** up the Ohtani situation. They can’t seriously think they have a shot at re-signing him, which means they have to trade him at the deadline, but trading him would be a PR nightmare just slightly less of a nightmare than not trading him and watching him leave and getting nothing but a comp pick.

He's absolutely walking for a comp pick.

Worst case scenario, so yeah that’s probably what the ownership there will make happen. If he had any sack at all he would trade him right after the all star game and not even wait to the deadline, even if creates a backlash. there simple aren’t enough words to describe the level of stupid it would be to lose arguably the best MLB talent the game has ever seen, for a comp pick.

Yeah apparently Arte doesn’t want to be known as “the guy who traded Ohtani” so instead of getting players who could help his team in 2024 beyond, he will take the comp pick and watch the team sink even further.

Which is ironic because "the guy who traded Ohtani" is an exponentially better handle than what Angels fans will be calling Moreno

2023 Chisox = zero redeeming qualities.

Not that it should matter but something about it being the first pitch of the game, makes it seem worse. Do you want to play or not?

You would think the s*** start hes got off to he would really want that hit. Guess not.

It’s about money. Trading Ohtani means way less butts in the seats for the rest of the year. Even though it would set up the org for a better future

They won't even be able to demonize Ohtani with "doesn't like LA", because he's going to the Dodgers.

I think he’s going to be a Yankee. No shot the Yankees allow him to go anywhere else. He will put up Legendary numbers in that joke of a ballpark.

He probably prefers to stay west coast. Nicer weather and closer flight to Japan. Timezone is another factor

New York has a different level of allure though. He will be talked into how many homeruns he could hit in that ballpark. Ohtani wants to be a Legend of the game. His legacy means a lot to him.
