I don't want to waste 12M AAV on Kyle Seager when Espinal likely equals his WAR for league min.

Scott Mitchell tweeted out today that 3rd base is a realistic chance for Moreno and he will be getting reps at 3rd in spring after having done some off season work preparing.

Not even the dogg would post that. That’s the craziest post I’ve read on the board.

My first thought was that was Dogg. My second thought was the Mods don't check in very often...lol. I couldn't bring myself to read the entire post. I just went on to thinking about the Jays again.

how do I find the words to express this?

how many of you are relatives to the trudeau's and are aware they're trying to kill people with a microwave sonar computer known as a nuke?

because the quick scan of the usernames on this board showed over half of you are relatives.

they are genetic terrorists and I actually am an invading party. I am arresting them, I am putting them infront of an executioners squad on television with a headline on 'high treason' and 'crimes against humanity'

plus you're all retarded drones... like even though some of you have exposure to clean your thoughts you still pin yourself in an argumentative mentality... as an example there's proof cavan biggio is a clone, and a genetic terrorist.

and everyone here is completely numbed on the topic.

yeah, nah. same ol same ol.

actually this is retarded. I'm JUST gonna throw you retards into gitmo when this is done.

YO SPORTSNET SCANNERS. I really am going after Canada. I really am invading. checking up on my facebook is actually truth on there. I really am invading canada.

I really did activate my computer. I really am taking them all down. I really am putting them infront of a camera.

see, i was looking for words. like this retard shoemaker/matthews with an iq of 35. i know he's a relative. i know all of these setups.

i really do know it all up to this point.

you know the people that walk in your path purposefully? they're being silenced.

the people that actually talk on a retard recurrance loop. they're being silenced.

these people that argue they're smart. they'll sit there and ARGUE WITH A PERSON ABOUT BEING SMART. (HEY CAVAN, FAG)

they're being silenced.

know those people who think they're geneticists but only stole people's hard practice efforts to try to shoot by them?

they're being silenced.

i was trying to find words and an outlet. i know you retards are on here sometimes you're pathetic fanboys trying too hard.

atkins, montoyo, dubas, trudeau, macarthur, bell

you're all relatives that have heard this DIRECTLY INTO YOUR SKULLS, had difficulty breathing and decided something different was true.

i know at least 1 of you pathetic fags will read this.

so try to understand the point of all of this.

i am tired, i am the voice in your head, and i am going to end you. v2.0? REIGHT? ...cuz... this has happened before. REIGHT?

you *know* stuff.

Is this a BBBB burner account?

There's no way that was Dogg. I was a lurker on the old board and actually enjoyed Dogg's antics. He was an obvious troll but didn't push the boundary like this guy did.

I also miss Todd's perspective on the top 100 Bluejay prospects in the system. He should be applauded for placing Alford in the 40 range when he was considered a top prospect. He had a skill in ranking the prospects, much like Keith Law.

I mean, if you keep Moreno at Catcher, you move Kirk plus a prospect for Lopez.

Seems to be a lot of pitching available this year, or is it me? Not that I'm complaining or anything.

Yeah the Marlins looking to possibly trade a starter, the A's supposedly cutting payroll and rebuilding so one or more of their starters are supposed to be available, plus the Reds are also cutting costs.

I hope the Jays shore up the pitching staff in free agency though, and hang onto their prospect capital for now. If they can't manage that, it's nice to know they might be able to trade for a Pablo Lopez, Sean Manea, Chris Bassitt, Sonny Gray or Luis Castillo.

I hope they spend like a drunken sailor. But smart though, obviously.

I like the idea of Carlos Martinez who had surgery for a torn ligament in his thumb. That's the type of thing he could have been pitching with for some time an explain the rough patch the last couple years. Numbers don't look good, but it's also just been 102 innings over the past couple years. He's a decent buy low candidate.

What are we going to do with Nate Pearson. Is he going to be in the rotation this year, or will they transition him to the pen?

Verlander throwing 94 to 97...sign me up for the 2 years at 20 mil that MLB trade rumors has him pegged at. Rodon is a guy of interest for me too.

This will be entirely dictated by his health. If his sports hernia surgery fixed his issues, he'll be in the rotation, if he continues to be plagued by injuries, they'll probably just get what they can from him out of the pen. I really, really hope it's the former.

It might seem weird but his best stretch was in 2019 when he was on the 5-2 program. 5 innings one start, 2 the next. Unconventional but would be interested to see how he would do in the majors with that strategy. Leaves some innings to be covered for sure.

Trading an arm to "clear a rotation spot" doesn't exist in baseball.

#BlueJays' general outlook at GM Meetings:

• rotation a "high priority" per Ross Atkins

• Jays also want to add an infielder (2B/3B) or two

• ideally, that bat's likely LH but not a must at all

• bullpen help eventually needed too

@bnicholsonsmith

• some deals are available to Jays now, if they wanted to jump

• Jays casting wide net from bounce-back types (like Heaney, who they pursued) all the way to some top names

• trades also on table, as Jays have depth at C (where there's seemingly a shortage available now) & OF

I’d be happy to sign Matz to a 3/$36M deal. That already gives us a solid rotation of Berrios, Manoah, Ryu, and Matz. And then you could trade for a top end starter if you don’t want to pay the premium for a guy like Ray or Gausman.

I think there’s more untapped potential there with Matz. He made some tremendous progress with Walker already. If you can further that relationship, he might end up getting better.

Steven Matz is expected to be at the GM Meetings on Wednesday to meet with teams. #Bluejays remain interested in a reunion. Keep an eye on the #Tigers. Also #Angels, #RedSox, a few others have interest.

Multiple reporters are saying that the free agent market this year is going to be a lot more competitive than in recent years. Yankees/Dodgers/Red Sox always make some sort of splash, but on top of that, you have the Padres, Giants, Braves, Phillies, Mets looking to make big moves.

I think the key differentiator is teams that have been rebuilding forever will also be looking to spend after a lot of years of tanking. Tigers, Marlins, & Rangers come to mind. It's gonna drive up the prices for a lot of middle tier free agents.
