intrigid Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Now would be a good time to get hat elusive third 11 game winning streak of the year.
blurnandez Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Going with my pops! We scored some 200 level tix last night. Ahhhh, why must I work this morning! So pumped.
Cyborg Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 LET'S GET ITTTTTTTTTTTTTtTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!
500LevelSTH Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Just announced roof will be closed, it is going to be insanely loud!!!!!!!!
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 I mean, is anyone who has a real job doing any actual work as of 3:00?
scagneti Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 if you have 500 tickets for today's game, line up now and make a dash for the Alomar bar on the 200 level. If you get seats, do not give them up! In the past for crazy busy games, they have either put reserved signs on any of the good tables at the Alo-bar, or they have denied access to anyone without 200 level tickets. I hope that they won't do that again, but just to forewarn that they sometimes get a little douchey. Obviously that's a YMMV type thing depending on who you get there, but just to avoid disappointment. But if you're someone who doesn't try to avoid confrontation at all costs like me, then for sure, try! The view is awesome there.

Governator Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 I'm bringing a special package of fireworks for this series.

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Just announced roof will be closed, it is going to be insanely loud!!!!!!!! What? That sucks, it such a beautiful October afternoon today. And tomorrow its expected to rain!

If you get seats, do not give them up! I've got a 500 seat for tomorrow, so going to head early and try and get a spot along the railings in the 100 level infield. I've never been to the Alomar bar though that sounds cool. Where is that located in the dome? And if anyone tries for it today, let us know if its available to anyone a first come, first serve basis!
candymartinez Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Just announced roof will be closed, it is going to be insanely loud!!!!!!!! Nooooooo I hate it in there with the roof closed.
blurnandez Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 That's ridiculous that the Dome will be closed. This is the best sports weather!
Yorkshire Blue Jay Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Exactly it'll be so hot and sticky in there today. ridiculous decision it would be open in these conditions for a regular season game.
Followthelight Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 His luck runs out today, he was lucky in his last start in Texas against the jays, he didn't pitch that well.

Followthelight Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Hope the bats don't struggle under the Playoff pressure, want to jump out to a nice early lead.

On the last regular season weekend, they had stuck numbers along the floor on all of the railings, that sort of looked like seat numbers. Not sure what those are for as I thought maybe they were finally going to assign the handicap seating, but the stickers went far too far, and were too close together. Not sure if they'll be doing standing room in 100 level rails along with WestJet bar, or if it's for something else. Hopefully someone will find out today what the numbers are for. The 100 infield behind the Jays dugout (right next to the camera guy) is a great place to watch from, so hopefully they make it available.

Won't be as bad as the summer months. I think it is supposed to rain later today anyways.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Its not suppose to rain until 9pm. Apparently MLB made the decision not the Blue Jays. So f*** them.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 So I'm coming in from the Scarborough area. Last time we took the Go train but I have to drive to Etobicoke tonight. Whats my best option? I plan to leave around 1245-1 pm Drive right to RC and park by stadium Drive to a subway station and take the subway in since traffic will probably be bad. Take the Go Train.

I wouldn't drive to RC if you're leaving that late. Probably go north a bit and park a few subway stops away. Just guessing based on experience. The Go Train will be absolutely packed, I'm not sure how far it is from the Scar to RC though.

Governator Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 I heard on breakfast television this morning Go Train was adding scheduled rides for blue jays postseason games, but can't find anything online. Anyone heard that? The last train from here during the week leaves at 7:15AM, arriving at Union at 9. I'm not complaining for a 12:30 start but would be nice if I didn't have to get there that early.
2lowitzki Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 I prefer the dome to be closed, so crowd's noise will be much louder today
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 I prefer the dome to be closed, so crowd's noise will be much louder today It will be loud regardless. The loudest game of the year was David Price debut and that was an afternoon day game with the roof open.

All I can find is that they're running 2 extra trains after the game on Lakeshore east and west
