    Don't get me wrong, he's done well on ESPN and generally is good at his job. But for the Blue Jays, is he really a good fit? I find he's knowledgeable but a combination of boring and serious, which is probably what a lot of Blue Jays fans don't want IMO. This is noticeably rubbing off on Buck as well. I'd prefer someone who is a little more relaxed... Tabler obviously, or where is Darrin Fletcher? He was great.

    Pearce has been replacement level. Carrera has contributed a bit. Plus we know Pearce has some injury concerns so he should be splitting time.

    Ha. I'm not so sure it's black and white that the team needs to tear it down immediately. It does seem like they should be sellers, but if they think they can contend next year it is possible but the FO will have to get very creative.

    Ya I don't think it's much of an argument. Though Vlad Jr. is shaping up to be a great prospect, he's not Moncada.

    I don't know. He seems a bit washed up to me...career high K rate and career low walk rate and clearly he is a little bit prone to injury and is 34. Is this the guy we should be relying on? I guess if we're tanking, he could be a plug while he's under contract.

    Hopefully this means Pearce does not see a RH ever.

    Pearce seems to have a pretty bad approach at the plate this year. They shouldn't put him anywhere near leadoff until that improves.

    He could be but I doubt it. Steamer does seem pretty elementary to be honest.
