Got to agree with you. Rangers aren't actually that good. Most of their wins are inflated from playing non-contending teams like Detroit and in the AL West, and being the one team in that division that absolutely dominates the Astros. This team was barely above .500 before September..

The Rangers don't scare me at all. I think this will just be a typical regular season Blue Jays type of game (with much more hype) and the Blue Jays will whip the Rangers 8 - 2.

 

I am looking forward to watching the game on TV. I will leave work early and be back home by 4 pm so I won't miss much of the live action. As usual I will PVR the game so I can rewind back to the first inning and be caught up with the live action in no time .

Worked late the last couple of days and I'm going in early Friday so I don't have to miss anything. Got my tickets and I'm ready to rock! Soak it up jays fans, we deserve this!

Couldn't sleep -- wish I hadn't said I'd work a half day before heading to the Dome. Can't believe it's been 30 years since I was at a baseball playoff game (we had seats for game 7 in '93). So many mediocre games in between. Jays fans totally deserve this.

 

Hope wherever you're planning on watching it from has snacks and drinks available and that we're all in for one hell of a game!

Rangers will have a good rotation next year when Darvish is back and Holland is more himself but this year they suck so bad! Can't believe a playoff team is starting Gallardo in game 1 especially a team that didn't even have to go through the wild card game.
