  1. So the Blue Jays are more likely to part ways with both Bautista and Encarnacion.. I'm wondering what Mark Shapiro and Ross Atkins is trying to do.. If he is trying to rebuild this team, I think he is on a wrong track. We made it to the postseason for two straight seasons.. That means we should continue to be a contender until we are able to do. I think the management's decision for not signing David Price was a good decision.. Although he contributed a lot to the Blue Jays to make a playoff run in 2015, we all knew he will sign with big clubs (Yanks, BoSox, etc) However, Bautista and Encarnacion has been our core player for years.. and we would not had won the Wild Card game without those two.. I can't imagine what will happen to this team without those two core players. Do you think the management is going on a path to rebuild this team from 2017 season?
  2. Another poor hitting costed us a game. I know Osuna shouldnt have blown this game... but this would not happen if our offense was better..
  3. Im pretty sure we will not host a wild card game... I don't know if we are gonna win a single game in our last 4 games of the season..
  4. Gibby should have left Cecil for 8th inning.....
  5. So with today's victory, the Blue Jays are 10-7 against the Orioles. That means we already won the season series against the Orioles. If the Jays are tied with the Orioles for the first wildcard spot to end the season, the game will happen at our home. I'm really worried about the Tigers because they got the Braves for their last 3 games.. We need to get through the BoSox at Fenway.. So I want the Jays to sweep the Orioles to clinch the first spot ASAP.
  6. Hopefully they wont blow this game
  7. Yup... Never trust any relief pitchers over 35 year old.. They become bust after that age.. I remember we got Francisco Cordero before 2012 season (he was 36, 37 year old) and he was horrible for us.. Papelbon became just a normal relief pitcher as soon as he turned 35... Santiago Casilla (Giants pitcher) is 36 and he costed so many games for the Giants.. Grilli should be lucky that he is not bad until now.
  8. By the way, do you know what happens if the Jays and O's are tied for the first wildcard spot? Right now, Jays won 9 of 16 games against the Orioles. So we will win the season series if we win at least a game, right? In that case, does it mean the Jays will be a home team for the series?
  9. #BlueJays reliever Joaquin Benoit appears to have suffered a significant injury to his left leg, was seen leaving on crutches. (Shi Davidi) Uh oh......................................................................................................................................................................................................
  10. I remember Benoit allowed game tying grand slam to David (Druggie) Ortiz back in 2013... At least Benoit is more reliable than Grilli.. (and now Benoit is injured.. sigh)
  11. He is also a manager who doesn't have clear strategy to the game.. He is just acting like a spectator. He need to utilize more SAC BUNT when we need to score
  12. Grilli should have been lifted after he allowed a home run to Teixeira.
  13. Im just waiting to get my playoff ticket refunded.. since they may not get the first wildcard spot. I feel confident that they will make it to a wildcard game, but don't know about first or second I think they will be lucky enough to win one each against the Orioles and the BoSox.
  14. It could have been better to let Osuna pitch three days in a row.. Betances came into today's game after throwing 40 pitches yesterday
