Bullpen is no fine, we need a #1 closer. And we need  add Tucker too. Otherwise Tucker will sign with the Dodgers, so no need sign Bellinger if Dodgers get Skubal and Tucker.

We don't really care what the Dodgers do.  In a short series even the Marlins could beat the Dodgers.

I dont think so. To beat Skubal, Yamamoto, Ohtani and Snell, will be almost impossible, unless you also have a boosted team.

I don't think there is any closer left on the market who is arguably better than Hoffman.

Maybe Mason Miller can be avalaible if Jays offering good prospect. Something like King, Nimmala and Fischer or Tidermann

Man something about this dude, reminds of a poster from the old board back in the day. I wanna say Todd or something like that.

Never disrespect todd like that. A Board Legend.

Free-agent reliever Tyler Rogers in agreement with Blue Jays on three-year, $37M contract with vesting option, source tells @TheAthletic. Value with option is $48M.

Holy shiiit

Wow opposing hitters will face the highest release point from Trey and lowest from Tyler

Rogers giving up less HRs is what the Jays badly needed after last season Achilles heel from their relievers especially from Mr. Hoffman.

with an elite defense behind him, that would bode well for his overall performance as a pitcher

now can we please sign Tucker

Bullpen is interesting.

No options

- Hoffman

- Garcia

- Rogers

- Berrios

- Lauer

- Nance

- Bruhl

Options

- Varland

- Little

- Fluharty

- Fisher

- Lee

- Schultz

Rule 5 - have to be on 26 man

- Bastardo

- Miles

Not on 40 but getting paid

- Yariel

Feels like there almost has to be trades. Bruhl actually had pretty good underlying numbers last year, so he might be a harder cut than you'd think as well.

No, the original BOB, and DALE, amongst many others, just ignore the tool.

Well layed out, bro. The depth is astounding.

There's more to come man.

Yeah we can't worry about them too much. You'd rather they load up over AL East teams.

Yeah the focus is on how to get through the grind of the 162 game season playing in the AL East, and worry about the Postseason later (trade deadline).

Jays have built up some nice SP and BP depth and could still even add to it.

Taylor Rogers contract apparently has a vesting option that could up the deal to $48M total value.

The Jays are sure pushing their chips to the center of the table. Rumour has it that Taylor Rogers was told if he signed with the Jays,  Atkins promised to name the stadium after him too. Boss moves all around.

It is not even 2026 yet and it seems like this is down to whether the Jays get Tucker and Bo now.

Everything else is sorted it is just a question of whether they move some surplus players out and finalize the roster.

There may be a surprise a long the way because there is still plenty of time before spring training but I never expected all these moves qo quickly.

Jays with 41 guys on the 40 man after adding Rogers and Lee yesterday? Who are the going to DFA to clear a spot?

Guessing Bruihl or Clase. Both are out of options and neither is likely to make the team.

They are going to have to consolidate roster spots in 2 for 1 deals soon. Some of these surplus players will be in demand.

We likely see someone traded for minor league depth shortly I would assume. Unless they’ve completely given up on someone like Clase, they don’t trade for Lee to take up a roster spot without having a follow up move I think.

We beat Skubal in the regular season, Snell twice in the playoffs and Ohtani in the playoffs too so there's that. It would be daunting, but anything can happen.

Man it feels like we need to clear some salary.  I could see a Berrios trade any day. They are likely haggling over the dollar amount we have to pay down with a couple teams.  I'd give Giminez away too if I could.

Posted

Ugh. Giving away our gold glove calibre starting short stop just because of money is not a great idea at all. If Giminez can get to 95 wRC+ hes probably worth 3-4 fWAR.

Berrios, who is currently slated as the 6th starter, yes move him if you can. Not the guy slated to be the anchor of the infield defense.
