Taking game 1 is always super important. But why not take game 1 and 2 and knock out the Yanks on the road?

Jays winning the series 3-1 but doing it with a negative run differential is the only appropriate way to win the series.

Do the yankees go short rest and roll out Fried, Rodon again to start, or do they put Gil in game one?

Will Warren game 1 is my guess

I guess their bullpen is rested so they could have a quick hook on him as well.

We also could go tricky and do a bullpen ish day game 2 with maybe an opener in front of yesavage, then bieber game three.

They should have the times for game 3 already since there’s no variables. Im guessing we get the time for that tomorrow?

Game 4 would depend on what happens with the NL

Does playoff Judge warrant intentional walks?

What a conundrum.

Literally every PA where theres even a remote chance to do damage that affects the outcome.

 Make someone else beat you.

Bellinger has been better than him recently though. And Stanton. Its a tough decision.
But this front office likely plans things as they would a regular season game

I was unsure if I preferred the Yankees or Red Sox as an opponent.  The let down I felt watching the Yanks score their first runs last night made me realize I would have preferred the Sox.

Crochet two times plus it's only an 8 inning game with Chapman. Boston would have been a hurdle as well.

Time for the Jays to test their mettle. They have to earn it now.

Remember, the Jays are the Yankees' daddy this year.

We have Little and Fluharty and two splitter god SP to neutralize their LHB.
Volpe is going to s*** his pants on national television after making a horrendous error.
Run wild on Judge's arm.

I think the Red Sox handled them 9-4 in the regular season as well.

Redsox arguably should have won game 2.

But also they got rid of Devers who was a certified Yankee killer and were down Roman Anthony

Yes but we don't have a Jarren Duran to clank an easy catch and lose the clinching game

Regular season doesn't matter anymore.

Besides so many things change throughout the season.

Yankees don't have as many flaws as they did through much of the season.

Jays were 6-1 at home versus the Yanks, 2-4 at Yankee's stadium.  Home field could very much come into play.

the called strike top of the 9th, wasn't even close - Bogaerts should have been on 1st

Imagine the s*** storm here if that happened to the Jays......

The Yankees will need to play better against the Jays than they did against the Sox.

The Sox aren't very good right now. They have one playoff caliber starter and are effectively going with bullpen games in their other games, with a bullpen that isn't very deep.

Despite this, they took the Yanks to the brink and in Game 3 the Yanks were lucky to score the runs they did with an xBA of .185. The Jays aren't going to be booting the ball all over the field like the Sox did.

With that said, the Yanks do have a good lineup, a good rotation, and a good closer. Not going to be an easy series for the Jays.

Yeah, the Sox defenders looked like Yankee defenders in the inning where all the runs were scored.

Not for not, but the Yankees just used Bednar 6 times in 8 days.  One has to wonder if that comes back to hurt them?
