I am happy that France is no longer taking PA from Schneider

That was my concern at the time of the trade 

Whether they send out France or Loperfido for Santander is the question.

My guess is France makes the cut. They’ll likely want to rest Vlad here and there down the stretch and nobody else really covers first base.

Also, adding Taters probably bumps Lukes to the bench more often, which makes Loperfido feel a bit redundant.

Come playoff time I'm not sure how much use there is for France though.

Honestly unless Santander starts to look a lot better at the plate, I may roster him but I don't put him in the starting lineup.

He's essentially started his spring training in the middle of September, and so far he looks like it. 

He literally has zero value except for power and he hurts our defense especially if Bo is a DH. 

As a bench option he's a nice pinch hit weapon late in a game where we're trailing, but unless he starts to look a lot better real fast I'd rather have players that have been doing it on a daily basis for us in the starting lineup.

Slamtander can play 1B though so if he is the guy coming back, that's a direct replacement for France's role
