I would imagine if he had a leg injury he wouldn't be playing. He DH'd in this game but he has multiple OF starts.

Rafters Verified Member Posted September 19, 2025 Posted September 19, 2025 The slow trot is probably to show up the ump or other team…. Be interesting to see the whole at bat Spanky__99 1

Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2025 Posted September 19, 2025 The slowest recorded home run trot was Rhys Hoskins who did it in 34.2 seconds. Santander's was 41 seconds, a full 7 seconds slower. It was so slow that Schneider checked in to see if he was hurt lol. Has to be a reason for it. I checked the previous pitches in the AB and the pitcher came pretty far inside twice. And if you look in the highlight he starts talking to the left side of the infield. It starts with the SS who is a former teammate of his in Andrew Velazquez. There was probably some beef earlier in the game or something. Spanky__99 1

Idiot needs to not worry about having beef with AAA pitchers or whatever the f***. Nothing productive can come of it. Barrelsandbombs 1
Laika Community Moderator Posted September 19, 2025 Posted September 19, 2025 I for one like to see Santander gooning it up in AAA. Good job. Spanky__99 1
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2025 Posted September 19, 2025 Anthony Santander: "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain". I agree with Laika, his stock just went up.😜 Spanky__99 1
