I would imagine if he had a leg injury he wouldn't be playing. He DH'd in this game but he has multiple OF starts.

Would he be playing the field if he had a leg injury?

I don't know, I hope there's some other explanation beyond just douchebaggery.

The slow trot is probably to show up the ump or other team…. Be interesting to see the whole at bat

Yeah, that was my train of thought, need to see the whole at bat.

The slowest recorded home run trot was Rhys Hoskins who did it in 34.2 seconds.

Santander's was 41 seconds, a full 7 seconds slower.

It was so slow that Schneider checked in to see if he was hurt lol.

Has to be a reason for it. I checked the previous pitches in the AB and the pitcher came pretty far inside twice.

And if you look in the highlight he starts talking to the left side of the infield. It starts with the SS who is a former teammate of his in Andrew Velazquez. There was probably some beef earlier in the game or something.

🙄

That's embarrassing that his own manager had to check in to make sure he wasn't hurt because of how pathetic that home run trot was.

Idiot needs to not worry about having beef with AAA pitchers or whatever the f***. Nothing productive can come of it.

I agree with Laika, his stock just went up.😜
