Might be a hot take, but Apple TV's broadcast is really good. Better than most of MLB's national partners.

Perhaps John Schneider has discovered the secret sauce for Hoffman; a good balance of work and enough rest but not too much.  He needs to keep sharp.

Easily overlooked this game was that plate appearance by Varsho in 8th to work a walk which allowed Kirk to come to the plate.  It's the little things.

When Kirk is on, he is such a crucially important part of this team. His go-ahead single was on a frankly terrific breaking ball from Maton that was exactly where it was supposed to be located.

Now 4-3 in this gauntlet of starting pitching since the Rockies series, would be fantastic to come out of this above .500 in this 9-game stretch.

Very exciting that this team is adding Springer to the lineup again. 

Crazy that were adding Shane Bieber to this rotation. Wonder if they will just go to a 6-man or he will be replacing someone. Lauer is the not so obvious choice anymore. Although he hasn't been as good recently.

He played well when we needed him to cover for injuries and he’s still a good bench piece to have.
