Omar Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Met v. Braves should be a good one. Battle of the right handers tonight, Sherzer vs. Wright.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 (edited) Stros up 1-0... Stros up 2-0... Altuve just missed that dinger. Edited October 2, 2022 by Spanky99
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Watching 39 year old Jesse Chavez pitch for Atlanta in high leverage. About to beat the Mets. Can't believe he is still going K'ing more than 1 an IP.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Brewers/Phillies look like they'll be tied for the last playoff spot after tonight (both leading) Braves gonna take the AL East
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 f***en Pressly. Get your s*** together f***head
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Rays lose Yup. Tight one. Ramirez PH scared me at the end. Man, that guys sprays the ball around everywhere it's pitched. Phew!
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Huge win for the Braves. Mets in a wildcard spot now after being in 1st all year lol
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Tampa 3 back with 4 to play...
BlueJays Verified Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Tampa 3 back with 4 to play... Just need the M's to lose a game.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Tampa 3 back with 4 to play... 2.5 technically. Jays just gotta win a couple more
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 (edited) Brewers blow it again in the late inning lol. - Suarez (LAA) is pitching a perfect game through 6 atm. jk semien ruins it. Edited October 2, 2022 by Solaxys
Masterbather Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 2.5 technically. Jays just gotta win a couple more They are three back, and it's probably enough to avoid them. Seattle is the bigger concern. I didn't expect the A's to offer any resistance and they aren't. We need Detroit to do something. The series in Baltimore is a concern because we have our most inconsistent starter and then two bullpen games with a lot of White and Kikuchi. Not a good situation. Even tomorrow's game with Boston should be more competitive with Wacha.
mellowgold Verified Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Looking more and more like a Jays/Mariners WC series.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Looking more and more like a Jays/Mariners WC series. Game 1: Castillo vs Manoah Game 2: Ray vs Gausman (this should be fun) Game 3: Gilbert vs… Berrios??

Even tomorrow's game with Boston should be more competitive with Wacha. Will the Mariners be tinkering with their rotation to try and set it up for the postseason too? Seems like they might and on top of it they have a double header against the Tigers which is going to force them to use someone not normally in their rotation. Are they going to want to use all their good relievers too or will they want to rest some of them? That double header could come up big for us. Also, the Tigers have won 7 of 8. This is going to be really close but if the Jays go 3-1 they should be fine. 2-2 even gives them a decent chance. That Orioles series with Berrios, White and Koch is scary though. The Orioles hate us so they are going to try and spoil home field for us for sure.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Game 1: Castillo vs Manoah Game 2: Ray vs Gausman (this should be fun) Game 3: Gilbert vs… Berrios?? Gilbert is lined up to pitch game 162 according to their manager.
204Jays Verified Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Gilbert is lined up to pitch game 162 according to their manager. This would be Strip over Berrios?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 This would be Strip over Berrios? Im thinking more and more that Berrios will get a possible wildcard game 3 over Stripling IF WE PLAY AT HOME. Berrios’ home/road splits have been crazy all year, and if Stripling ends up pitching that game 3 then it would mean Berrios would have to take game 1 of the ALDS on the road in Houston.
BCZ Verified Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 I'll vomit a little in my mouth if Berrios pitches over Strip in game 3.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 SWR - 5 IP, 61/91 Strikes, 3 ER, 3 Hits, 1 HR, 3 Ks. It was all right against Tigers. Cutter is pretty good.

Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 You watched? Yarp; was curious of how he'd do. The lettering on his jersey was hilarious; instead of reducing the size, they decided to do a full 270 arc to fit in Woods Richardson
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Pujols should probably keep playing considering he’s seemingly found the fountain of youth mid way through this season. He’s been a completely different player in the Second Half better than he’s been in a decade. Keep riding it.

Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Rays lose so the Jays 100% won't have to play them in the Trop in the playoffs.
