Of course. I was agreeing about giving Pearson more reps at the MLB level and not sending him down. I was citing us doing a similar thing with Bo and Biggio to help overcome their defensivd struggles by not moving them from the positions. That's all...

If Nate showed anything like this in his AAA start he wouldn't have been called up to start with. Kay didn't exactly pitch great either so there's no perfect solution here with respect to whether Nate should pick up more AAA innings or work on his command issues in MLB.

As hitters for sure but at SS/3B defensively? We have a 2nd baseman who is clearly better than Bo right now at that position defensively but we're willing to sacrifice some of the present for the future. We should do the same with Pearson.

Bo is a cornerstone player, I think some patience is going to pay off to allow him to work through some stuff at the major league level. I think the tools are there to be a good major league shortstop, he just needs to continue working, just like Marcus Semien had to do as young player.
