Yikes! I really don't think his stuff taking a step backwards has much to do with any mental issue. Hopefully he can figure out a way to get the most out of his arm and stay healthy. That sounds like something you do in the minor leagues though.

Doesn't sound similar to the Halladay situation.

That sounds like something you do in the minor leagues though. Nah. He hit 100 late in his AAA start and looked great. 8K is 3.2 IP and only 1BB in a squeezed AB. This is entirely mental.
