John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Just now, Horses Fart said: Nope just curious most fractures would be in the 3-6 weeks range for normal people, assuming its not sever enough to require surgery, which would push it to 8-12 weeks. Not sure how long that would be extended for athletes putting more stress on it. You also stay sore for weeks and sometimes months even after the bone is healed. Horses Fart and Olerud363.354 2
Masterbather Verified Member Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Doesn't look like it was the elbow though. Looks like the meaty part just above the elbow. Hard to see how a bone would break on that. I'll tell you what, if he did break a bone he didn't sell it because that should hurt a lot more than he made it look.

Best case scenario is that they talk to him about playing through injuries too much, and told him that if he gets banged up take a couple of days off... and he's listening to them with no arguments to stay in the game.
Masterbather Verified Member Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago One time Sosa. Just one time we needed something more than absolute uselessness. Alas, it was too much to ask. dancingmachine 1

Pinkfloid Verified Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Tough loss but hopefully Cease and Vladdy are both fine. Tough to sweep, you gotta take each series win as a positive. Hoping the team can get back to .500 by the end of the month and then go on a run as guys come back.
DownSouthBlueJay Verified Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago You think if we asked nicely the pirates would give us horwitz back? lol
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Absolute pathetic effort from top to bottom. Terminator and neverbeenhere 1 1
jmomcc Verified Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I honestly thought that was a pretty well played game where nothing dropped when we needed it to.

Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted 15 minutes ago Posted 15 minutes ago Pirates aren’t a bad team this year so take the series win and thank god the injuries don’t seem very serious. need to win the series against the Marlins and the get ready for 7 games against Orioles in 10 days. Brownie19 1
