Lmao let’s go through the roster and count the guys who we think are “concerned” with the org if they don’t do anything other than releasing a statement saying Taters and his dumbass opinions are his own.

I’m going to go ahead and venture a guess that Nathan Lukes and his thin blue line tattoo isn’t calling Ross Atkins and demanding action lol. I also have an hunch that all those guys that went to that country concert together might be in the same boat. That’s about a 10 player head start but if you think most of the rest of them are concerned that the Jays aren’t going to hold Taters accountable I’d love to know who you think it is.

Are you suggesting a lot of Blue Jay players are OK with it because they too hate Muslims? Or because they are also racist?  Did you watch the video he posted?

I think a public apology is likely enough accountability.  But like Bass, Santander's play can also be a large factor cutting ties with him. He isn't good enough to bother with this moronic behavior.  I don't think it's going to deter players from wanting to come to Toronto.  The Bass incident was in 2023.  I think it's perfectly reasonable to think players would prefer not to play with racists.

I think most baseball players are uneducated, simple minded morons actually. I don't think they really care if they have teammates that are racist or bigots. I'm sure many have their own racist or bigoted views.

OK.  I do suspect there's some truth to that, no matter how sad it truly is...

Maybe Santander really hates it in Toronto and figured a way out?  The chess master!

It does seem a bit like self-sabotage. The whole thing from the multiple shoulder injuries that were undisclosed, back injury, general pissyness.

Islam isn’t a race it’s a religion

The word racist holds no weight anymore because guys like you have been using it to describe anyone you disagree with on Facebook and twitter for the last decade

it’s perfectly reasonable to think players would prefer to play with players who stand up to a religion that oppresses gays and women

Islamophobia is widely considered by international bodies and human rights organizations to be a specific form of racism or cultural racism.

If players preferred to play with players who stand up to religions that oppress the lgbtq+ community, there'd be no MLB.

Your reference points are out of date.   Look up cultural racism and catch up.

Any way, this forum should not devolve into the wild west of shoot from the hip opinions. Plenty of other places like that.

I hate Samsung appliances.

Never buy Samsung appliances.

The phones are great, but the appliances are overpriced, fragile pieces of garbage. You will regret it.

I'm not familiar with Aaron Parker.  Looks like a power hitting righty that they're trying to convert to a corner outfielder.  Interesting.

Hi John do you care to venture a guess on how many hot dogs Alejandro Kirk can eat in one sitting?
