Still doesn't make it any less stupid, lol.

Well, its innaccurate but that's not something that surprises me from an athlete. They say dumb sh*t all the time.

The dude was a little big for his britches at times but his words had literally nothing to do with his career being ruined.

some of what happened to Manoah was in his head, it happens + the body + the injuries

I think his decline was all injuries tbh

He started to break down and lose his stuff it just took like a year before the elbow popped

Nathan Lukes

Lukes is a stud defender in right field. On top of that since his vertigo issues were addressed he's been a very steady performer with a 108 wRC+/1.6 FWAR over his last 303 PA.

Do you guys like Anthony Santander can come back and be that steady 30 homer guy that we all wanted when he signed?

He is never mentioned on telecasts, Blue Jays Central, Blair and Barker, At the Letters, etc. It is like he is such a non-factor that he is already written off.

Last update I saw he was hitting off a tee. He was initially expected to be back around August.

And hes been written off because he HAS been a write off so far.  Just wait until he gets closer to an expiring deal and then he'll try to turn it on lol.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

Didn't do a rigorous search but Don Mattingly and Adrian Beltre are two guys this happened to in prime (26-31) time.   Both put up a .250 .310 .350 or something season after monstrous seasons in their early to mid 20s.

Mattingly never really came back but sort of became a .290 hitter with 10 homers.  Beltre came back to have several .300 30 100 .900 OPS like seasons in his 30s.   Had a great 30s.

This has been mentioned before by other posters at least the Beltre comparison.     Every once and a while it happens.  Mike Lowell too.  Not the same career length or hitting talent but good in his 20s, .230 with 8 homers at 31, back to MVP level at 33.

Still think the Keys/Vlad/Springer/Okamota load management system is the way to go.  3 positions playing time evenly split 4 ways.

Little League Classic and Field of Dreams parks aren't equipped with the equipment required for ABS

Who cares, I love those games. The crack of the bat, balls snapping in gloves, the plays at the bags all that subtle nuance is top shelf.

Field of Dreams park isn't even equipped with walls. Who cares about ABS for 1 game?

Friedl was placed on waivers. He'd be an interesting pickup to replace Straw next year (and probably slightly cheaper). He has 2 minor league options and isn't a free agent until 2029. He put up 4.1 WAR in 2023 and 3.1 WAR last year. We won't talk about this year.

Suarez was also put on waivers and is a free agent after this year. He could be a nice option to provide some much needed pop if Springer could play some occasional outfield down the stretch.

He didn't ruin Sid?  Vlad is a f*cking joke.  Sid is spot on here IMO.  If teammates aren't man enough to do it, then the organization needs to. Tell that stupid, fat f*ck to get in the lab and rebuild his swing. He's an embarrassment and needs to be told that.  He needs to put all his pride aside and get to work for this team.

Myles Straw is a career sub .600 OPS hitter. He should STFU.

the name calling though?  if he just stuck to the facts then I'm kind of with him.  Who watches the post game stuff anyway?  I only care what players do between the lines.

Yea Straw is a 4th outfielder  - always was. so?
