I'd also like to take a minute to appreciate the Mets collapse.

Cohen learning he can't buy his way to a World Series title.

With the off days I think they can use him in Games 2 and 5.

Yeah I was looking at that earlier. Off days are after game 2 and 4, so crochet could start game 2 on normal rest and game 5 on normal rest.

So that's only once they get to use him since we gonna beat them in 4 games

LOL

Sox. Yankees are red hot and much better team than boston

I wanna beat the Yankees though. So bad. I want to see Judge’s stupid face in the dugout when we knock them out.

I don't want to play the Mariners in the ALCS if possible.

As crappy as the way the seeding worked out, the Jays are going to have their work cut out for them with either the Yankees or Sox. Pointless to worry about what happens in the other bracket.

The Jays won both season series 8-5, but their starting pitching has had some poor outings lately. Gonna need to get more than 4-5 innings out of your aces with 4+ earned runs to have a chance

I do, because it would mean that we got there and I'll take my chances from there.

Rather Detroit or Cleveland.

Thanks tips.  I didn't know that the Jays would have their work cut out for them with the Yanks/Redsox.  I assumed the wildcard winner wouldn't show up and just forfeit the division series.

I didn't say I was worried who we would play in the other bracket, just stated my preference.

Going down 1 run early felt like an ominous sign in such a high stakes game, but Captain Kirk's grand slam just eliminated so much of that early anxiety. I'm just so excited and proud to be a lifelong Jays fan right now. How does a kid from Oregon who was born in the 70's end up with the Jays as his favorite team?? I have no idea, but it happened. Go Jays!

After hoping for the Twins and getting them in 2023, only for an embarrassing 2 game sweep out of Minnesota, I really don't care who the Jays face. Getting the bye and home field was super important as they play (and hit) a lot better at home. That was their their best shot of winning anything in October and they got it. Whatever happens from there happens.
