  8. Owners winning a collective bargaining negotiation is better for the fans, almost universally. Players winning is almost universally bad for the fans. Players winning is effectively a win for the richest teams. Owners winning is a win for the best run teams.
  9. I think it's crazy that we send people to prison for this. It's just sports. You should be able to do and say what you want. If that depletes trust in the sports betting world, then I'm all for it. Why should the govt be in the business of enforcing betting odds?

  11. I guess. He wasn't that good. A reasonable case to be made that better managing would have resulted in a WS win. He put a lot of players in positions to fail.

  14. Thisn wasn't luck. Yamamoto probably had the best series of any pitcher ever. Maybe any player ever.
