https://www.si.com/mlb/guardians/news/cleveland-guardians-being-cautious-with-jose-ramirez-injury

On Friday night, Ramirez fell awkwardly after planting his foot on first base. He immediately dropped to the ground in pain and eventually subbed out of the game.

The team announced later in the night that Ramirez suffered a "mild right ankle sprain," and Stephen Vogt also provided a little more context on his status.

"Good. The reports are good; just being cautious. Long season. He said he could've kept going, but we can't take that chance. [We wanted to] get him checked out. Good reports so far. [He's] really sore, so we'll have to see how he feels in the morning," said Cleveland's skipper.

Barger had some tough ab's yesterday. Hope he does better today.

CB Bucknor had a lot to do with that. Barger and Clement both

I'm glad they seem to have finally come to their senses and put Gimenez at 9. If he's hitting below Heineman then that means they no longer have delusions about how good of an offensive player he is. If you're lucky then he's around a 90-100 wRC+ player, and you accept that at the bottom of the lineup (have no choice due to the contract).

Need to get at least two there. pity.

Yeah, would’ve been nice if we at least looked threatening and put it in play.

We need to play guys at the bottom of the order until they prove they should be moved up.  Barger 6th is stupid.  No need to put added pressure on him either.

We’re just looking for some sort of contribution from Lukes but to see he’s batting 7th just shows the lack of offense depth we have.

Keep me right here but did anyone actually see a proper tag on Lukes?

He did brush his leg

Like it or not, good teams grind out at bats with slap hitters like Kwan. How annoying is he to face as the opposing team?

Williams has been hit around a bit this season but we’ve already seen him painting 100 at the knees. Please can he just hang a curve?

Williams seems much better against left handed batters.

His curve seems to play up vs lefties but bit of a poor effort there not to score a few.

We keep letting Williams off the hook.

His stuff is straight filth. Command comes and goes clearly but when it comes... it's nasty.
