Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 Holy Crap! Vladdy made a hell of a play on that one! Jaysman 1
Jaysman Verified Member Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 SN just showed stats that Gausman has ERA of 3.51 thru 100games as a Jay which is only just behind Stieb and Halladay at 3.42 and 3.43. That’s quite impressive whichever way you cut it.

HomeRunHomer Verified Member Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 Vlad may want to consider washing his helmet at some point.
Jaysman Verified Member Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 Honestly, need to stop the dumb plays. Bo swings at a pitch 2 ft outside but somehow gets on base only to be picked off on routine throw over.

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 Heinemen receiving has been on point today.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 Can’t even put into words how useless it is to have Straw hit for Lukes. Especially when the intention is to bunt.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 Double, moved over on a fly out, then a sac fly... I'll take that from 6-9 anytime.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 Straw moved the runner and that’s good but there’s going to be a more important situation later where you’re going to want Lukes up not Straw. Only the 5th inning. No reason to empty all the lefties in your Lineup.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 We don't see Gausman hitting 98 very often
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 Zero reason to consider removing Gausman from this game. He should 100 percent start the 7th.

And then he stays in the game defensively which makes it so nothing drops in the outfield.

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 I would bring the Gasman out for one more inning.

hanton Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 a pitcher that strides off the mound like that after a K.....gotta love it

glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 Have to assume Hoffman is not available, and I think Jimi has thrown 2 out of the last 3. Would be nice to not have to use either of them. G-Snarls 1
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 I was just saying for Green not to give up the long ball. He's throwing cement mixers all season.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 Chad Green kinda sucks, dude seems to give up a bomb every outing. Reminds me of Trevor Richards at times. Relievers are so volatile man

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 Chad Green went from throwing BP to Schneeman to unhittable the rest of the inning at the flip of a switch. More of that second part please Chad.
