Why is Berrios still pitching when Bassitt got pulled in the same situation with a similar number of pitches? I don't disagree with leaving Berrios in, but it's a little puzzling.

You don’t know how a guy is going to be able to throw in this weather so I wouldn’t be bringing in a guy like Sandlin who struggles with command.

He's a baseball player. Every start he gets out there and competes. He understands that sometimes you can't get a whiff from the 9th hitter in the lineup, all you need is attack hitters with strikes and let the defense do the job behind him.

The point is this logic should be used ALL the time unless we got an unproven starter on the mound, which we really haven't had often in the last few years.
