Gotta take a big hit of copium and hope that now that the contract stuff is out of the way, he can play with that weight off his shoulder and start performing care-free. Vlad was a top 5 hitter last year when the season was out of reach, let's hope this time he returns to that level since now he's extra set for generations to come.

It sucks to admit it but the Red Sox offense looks stacked. 7 deep since Campbell and Wilyer Abreu seem to be good players. 

Berrios vs Crochet is a weight class mismatch so have to hope the Dick does not Fitt(s) tonight and then hope the Jays' LHB can get to Houck on Wednesday. 

Basically the team with the fewest HR in baseball, the Blue Jays, will need to outslug a good offense this series. Time for Vlad to single handedly win a series!

It sucks but it is possible to come out ahead here. The team is 5-5 despite getting piss all from their 2, 3 and 5 hitters. Not gonna score many runs with those spots in the lineup providing nothing. Vlad and Santander have the track record to put it together, and the former loves hitting at Fenway. Kirk needs to pull it together, his consistently awful ABs with runners on has been pissing me off. There were so many instances of him coming up in a big spot and striking out in a bad way, popping it up or hitting a weak groundball. Pull it together Kirk!

Despite the brutal result the pitching held their own in New York. It's probably gonna be slugfests rather than pitching duels since Fenway contests always play out like a Coors lite when these two teams are involved. The offense needs to wake up, from the power department especially.

I don't think precipitation will be the issue tonight but it will spit a little. I think it might be more if it'll be warm enough for a game. Game time temperatures 3°C

I've seen games cancelled due to cold weather before. What are you talking about? The problem is that the it's going to be cold all week in Boston, so they'll have to play in extremely miserable conditions tonight. Light mist, breezy with game time temperature at 2°C with a wind chill of -2.
