Save some for Vlad and Bo

Can you remind them that they are supposed to be superstars?

Seems dumb that Barger didn't play any leftfield in AAA if that was potential spot for him to play in the bigs.

What you would expect out of bottom 5 organization.

(Someone passed on a poll where ...

1. Jays were in not in top 5

2. But 16 teams got votes so Jays not top 16

3. But a few teams didn't get votes because of onwership

so

4. Can kindof conclude Jays might be bottom 10

5. Saying bottom 5 is probably an Olerud363 style dooms day fan fiction as there must be 5-7 teams more retarded? Right?

I heard there is a reservation for 50 at a sushi restaurant later tonight!

Betway just got a $1.4 Million bet on the Jays game today...

No it doesn't look fine. We're doubling down on stupidity. Barger should be playing 2nd. He's played 2nd before. He's never played left. Put Biggio or Sneider in left.

This series has the potential of being ugly from a fan reaction standpoint.

The Jays struggling mightily to score runs all season long, in a year where the team opted to double down on “the core” when that core has inarguably never looked worse.

Against an absolute offensive juggernaut who has stars that play like stars, with their top prize from the offseason, where we had plan A and then straight to plan D.

We could hear a lot of displeasure if the Jays don’t look like a competitor.

Special message from baseball commissioner Rob Manfred:

It has come to my attention that many poor sport Toronto fans are planning to boo Shohei Ohtani and even their own players tonight.

Please do not. Do not embarrass our sport. Baseball is a game of joy, a game of generations, a game for the fans. Your may have been disappointed that Shohei signed with the Dodgers but remember how joyful you felt for 40 minutes when you thought he signed with Toronto? Dodgers fans have felt that Joy for months so be be happy for their happiness.

This has been a special message from commissioner Rob Manfred.

Yea, extremely stupid. He really should have been getting reps for LF all along.

- Springer gets injured, Varsho slides to RF

- KK gets injured, Varsho slides to CF

- Varsho gets injured, KK mans CF

Seems dumb by the front office to not have him training LF for the obvious Schneider platoon too.

If Barger had issues with how the ball came off some lefties against KC then good luck with Ohtani and Freeman.

Literally setting up the poor kid to fail and shatter his confidence before he even has a chance to get going...

The spreadsheet doesn’t say anything about that

This ought to be good.

I know how disappointed you would be if the Jays actually won the game tonight.

Yeah if Barger was going to be an option in LF in case of injury, then I'm not sure why they didn't have him play there a bit in the minors.
