That seems plausible. I was a 1st baseman and I definitely changed my positioning slightly based on what pitch was called. But it was the NDBL, so nobody picked up on that s***.

Interesting experience on UP Express last night heading from airport to game. At least I thought so.

 

Sat beside an elderly gentleman JUST off the plane from London heading to 4 games all by himself.

 

Thick English accent. Working class guy who saves up all his $ and heads to Jays games and World Cup etc. Loves baseball, soccer, rugby, cricket etc. Really cool to hear why he likes baseball and how tough it is in England to stay on top it with other sports competing for eyeballs. Jays fans everywhere! Hope he gets a better outcome tonight!

Yeah Jackson is the last guy in the pen and just threw an inning so makes sense to send him down for Hatch who hasn't pitched since May 12 and has the ability to go multiple innings.

This is his last option year, no DFA needed to send him down. White and Cimber are only on the 15 day DL so wont cause a 40 man roster issue when they are activated.

 

Quite likely Hatch goes right back down when the first of them get activated then... sad to say... Pearson.
