Walker had a wRC+ of 128 in AA; Vladdy had 203. He also didn't look worse, he looked better by most stats after the first 20ish games. The Cards are trying to turn around their season before they sink too low in the standings, they can't afford to be starting Walker everyday and at his age and point in development he needs to be starting everyday.

Why are the Braves continuing to roster Ozuna? Just AA's pride?

Isn't Ozuna making like $20 million? haha.

Shocked they're still rostering both him and Rosario.

Michael Harris should soon be returning barring a setback in his rehab, something will have to give there.

Lol dude is right though, even the radio hosts know it.

Yeah plus Sam Hilliard off to a great start (wish I didn't drop him in the LOD FFS!) alongside they have Kevin Pillar who could platoon with him.

I don't see them keeping both Ozuna and Rosario. Phantom IL stint likely once Harris gets back.

This is an incredible fan rant. Not only are all of his points exactly right, he’s also using advanced stats to make his point. This is the gold standard.

That was the single greatest fan rant I've ever heard.

Wilner would have cut him off after the first mention of WRC+ and reassured everyone that it's just a small sample size.

Yeah Wilner would have cut him off like 10 seconds into his rant.

These guys let the dude rip for like 6 minutes straight. Epic

Agreed.

To be fair though, most callers can barely say hello and their name. This guy did his homework was prepared. Most fans are morons.

Wilner wouldn't let a guy rant on that long for sure. Epic call!

White Sox suck!

Nobody who ever called Wilner could spell baseball or had any idea what wRC+ was.

I have an admission to make. I used to be a White Sox fan. I grew up on a farm that only got like 4-5 channels and while I did watch the Jays as a kid, they weren't on TV very often. Then one day we bought one of those massive satellite dishes and my world changed forever. Not only could I watch soft core porn (Red Shoe Diaries) and the Playboy channel while it was super fuzzy - but I got WGN! There were Cubs games on every day and I fell in love with baseball. I watched Sandberg, Maddux, Dawson, Dunston, Grace, etc. everyday after school.

But - every once in awhile, WGN would show White Sox games. Not many, but some and that exposed me to this guy named Frank Thomas and he was incredible. I fell in love with Big Frank, Ventura, Lance Johnson, Ozzie, Black Jack, Jason Bere, Fernandez, Alverez and the guys. The jersey's were popular and they quickly became my team. I followed them through the Konerko years, posted on a White Sox message board and finally enjoyed them winning the WS in 2005. I just saw old pictures the other day of my first born son wearing a White Sox bib 2010, which someone bought us because they knew I was a White Sox fan. However, it was right around that point that I hit my tipping point with this f***ing horrendous franchise. I quit the old White Sox message board and found a Blue Jays one and returned to my original roots and now bleed blue and white.

And thank god - or that would probably be me ranting at how f***ing pathetic that organization is. Thank god we never hired Kenny Williams!

That was an awesome rant. I will spending a my usual couple of weeks in Chi-town this July. Lucky for me my Jays are in town the first week of July. :P

How do the Padres have a team 89 wRC+? Might be time to hire a hitting coach.

Juan Soto has been disappointing. At what point is it decided he's no longer a top 5 bat?

A couple more months of this, probably.

But it isn't just him. Machado has been terrible. Tatis was on a massive heater in AAA and has been bad since his recall. Kim can't hit. Nola is a black hole. Their offense is basically just Bogaerts and Cronenworth.

Glad you've come to your senses. It's hard overcoming years of brainwashing, but you did it.

Its still April I wouldn’t be overly concerned about Machado and Soto. Both will go on massive heaters soon.

Everytime I see Ohtani shove, it makes me sad I traded him in LOD. :(

Man, I've never owned him in Fantasy. I made an effort in one of the forum dynasties and was quickly rebuffed. Would be so much fun.

I took over a BBDL in an act of charity and it happens to be the #1 team in the league

Not only do I have Shohei Ohtani but I have tons of other fun players like the resurgent Yusei Kikuchi, the intrepid Zac Gallen, and the electric Sandy Alcantara. Also Jackson Holliday who is the best prospect in the world. And one guy I have always loved and supported no matter what, Jarred Kelenic, and it just warms my heart to see him slugging like this.
