Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 BREAKING San Diego Padres star Fernando Tatis Jr. has violated Major League Baseball’s performance-enhancing drug policy. Tatis Jr. will be facing a suspension, per @JeffPassan https://t.co/sGvhW60fNc 80 games, Ang.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 Arizona? I've never heard of that being a world class place to live. The weather is also not for everybody but I know ideal for certain people. Arizona is an incredible place to live. The heat there is perfect. Its never humid. It also has a little bit of everything. You can get a taste of wild life and if you miss the city and fine dining a lot of Downtowns are beautiful, brand new, and well taken care of. Would highly recommend. If I were to relocate to the States it would be #1 for me. Ofcourse everyone has their tastes.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 Probably took something to speed up his recovery. Tough to see The good news is he’s definitely going to be healthy by the time his suspension is over. The sad news is how his career has started plagued with injuries and now this. Hes one of those guys with the talent to be an all time great but may struggle to stay on the field.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 I feel the players should be playing a tax for getting to play in Canada. America has some real s*** hole cities that I would never consider living in even if I was making more money and paying less to live there. Like in the Summer playing Toronto if not the best city to play and live in. It’s easily Top 3. San Diego and Arizona would probably be the only rival for me. Lol Phoenix is a shithole. It's a concrete jungle filled with ghettos, traffic and crazy amounts of senior citizens. Scottsdale is the one "nice" part of that town and it's full of degenerate ASU sluts with chlamydia. Pass.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 Ha-Seong Kim has actually been a pretty decent replacement for Tatis this season. Coming into tonight he had a 100 wRC+ and 2.5 WAR. He's a really good defensive SS. Obviously it would have been better (and more fun) with Tatis there, but Padres can probably make do for now.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 Yankees lose. Blown lead in the 9th (barely got out of it alive), don't score in the top of the 10th, lose in the bottom.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 wdym He's been kind of s*** lately. 13:9 K/BB since July in 12 IP, 10 ER, and the FIP and xFIP are garbage too.

Oof yeah he sucks lately Their bullpen does NOT look good anymore. Chapman and Loaisiga blow. Holmes is human. Green TJS. The guys they brought in aren't elite I mean Effross throws 91 and Trivino has a 5.10 ERA. It's not better than Toronto's pen anymore. Might even be worse

Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, LA, San Fran, New York, St. Louis, Minnesota are a couple of s*** hole cities in the US. Toronto has started to become a s*** hole. It's not the same city it was 5-10 years ago. A lot of cities have bad parts and nice parts including Toronto. Like even San Fran, some parts are nice and outside of the city in Northern California is nice, but some parts of San Fran downtown is filled with homeless and drug addicts. In comparison to some big US cities though, Toronto is still pretty decent. Still, there are some better US cities to play in for sure.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 LOL @ Sandy Leon trying to run on a ball hit to Jo Adell https://www.mlb.com/video/patrick-sandoval-in-play-out-s-to-jose-miranda-fqtybv-x2026?t=clutch-moments Makes me laugh for some reason like he sort of runs out of gas 3/4 of the way there. Prob knew he was f***ed and wanted to save his energy.
