To be clear, no one here has said Berrios is an ace. Jonn says he is a #2. He is not. Berrios is a #1 starter on the majority of MLB teams.

 

Ryu and Berrios are 1A and 1B.

 

Some fans would have a higher opinion for Berrios if he was pitching for a large market team with national press but I guess this happens when pitching for Minnesota!

I wouldn't call him an ace, but he's a very good starting pitcher and a workhorse who doesn't just chew through innings but he gives you quality innings.

Holy f*** guys he's 18th since '17... he's an Ace of our staff! There's only a handful of elite Aces, he's in the next tier period, take it and ride. Also, f*** off with ERA. Look at the leaderboard since '17
