Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 This atmosphere is absolutely electric. Yeah it also has the length of a playoff game lol
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Yeah it also has the length of a playoff game lol Absolutely ridiculous to have 4.5 hour regular season games. Baseballs gotta figure out their pace of play. I got some ideas but doubt baseball ever does anything about it. Having said that, wowwww lindor!
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Damn, Lindor coming up huge for the Mets tonight
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 This game has been absolutely terrible, and MLB should be embarrassed. Turned out quite exciting... Diaz suxxxxxxx
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Stanton with 2 on 2 out. I'm scared lol
Davie Verified Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Stanton to Lindor. Couldn't make this s*** up
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Wow what a day for the OOT scoreboards.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Lol @ the Yanks and their 300 million dollar man Stanton trying to dunk on sorry ass Lindor (the 2021 version of Odor) and failing massively. I really hope they back in to the 2nd WC spot. The Wild Card game will be easy to win.
keggy Verified Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Stanton to Lindor. Couldn't make this s*** up Yankees better hope Stanton doesn't rattle easily. These are the moments that can mentally shatter an athlete for years.
Laika Community Moderator Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 I love Francisco Lindor (now)
Ray Verified Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Padres are 25-35 since the beginning of June.

intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Does anyone want that last NL wild card slot? I hate the National League so much.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Does anyone want that last NL wild card slot? I hate the National League so much. They should forfeit the last WC spot due to incompetence this season.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Padres are 25-35 since the beginning of June. it's almost as if you shouldn't trade all your depth for small upgrades to make you still not be the best team in your division
BTS Community Moderator Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 I hope the Cards take the last WC spot. Preller is a moron, and the Reds didn't even try to assemble a good team in the offseason. Give me Waino starting a WC game plz.
BTS Community Moderator Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Yankees getting bombed 4-0 in the first by Minnesota lol
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Yankees getting bombed 4-0 in the first by Minnesota lol Anyone else starting off the fantasy playoffs with a Gil special? f***
Ray Verified Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 it's almost as if you shouldn't trade all your depth for small upgrades to make you still not be the best team in your division AJ Preller is the most overrated GM in the league. For as much was made about the Padres rebuild, there is very little actual homegrown talent that they themselves developed. The vast majority of that Padres roster is built either through trades (Cronenworth, Pham, Grisham, Myers, Musgrove, Darvish, Snell) or free agency (Hosmer, Machado). Tatis is really the only "homegrown" guy, and I think it's safe to say he would've been a superstar anywhere. There's a legitimate question to be raised about their player development. I think he's a fantastic amateur scout, but his decision making when it comes to major league transactions is also questionable at best. I cannot fathom how any major league GM gives Eric Hosmer $144M when there was such a consensus that he was a landmine.
BTS Community Moderator Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Anyone else starting off the fantasy playoffs with a Gil special? f*** If you started Luis Gil on a Monday at Yankee Stadium, you deserve what's coming to you.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 If you started Luis Gil on a Monday at Yankee Stadium, you deserve what's coming to you. Last start was first time I saw him pitch and he was filthy, was hoping he’d handle MN. Wasn’t even walks
BTS Community Moderator Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Last start was first time I saw him pitch and he was filthy, was hoping he’d handle MN. Wasn’t even walks He is indeed filthy. I'd be terrified of him dropping a half dozen walks on me more so than him getting bombed, but here we are.
Laika Community Moderator Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Anyone else starting off the fantasy playoffs with a Gil special? f*** Did you not watch his last game, against Toronto, when he walked SEVEN guys!? Gil is not an MLB SP right now.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 I strongly dislike both New York teams this year
Ray Verified Member Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 The Yankees are the walking dead right now. I haven't seen a more lifeless team in the majors this year. The Orioles, Rangers, Royals, DBacks all suck, but at least they look like they're trying. They're just really bad. On a side note, the Twins seem like an actually decent-to-good lineup. Hopefully our pitching shows up in those games, because we can easily be burned by their hitters. Don't think those games are as easy cakewalks at it may seem by their record.
