I know this thread is the rational reaction, but I don't think I'm here yet.

Me too. I re-played those calls to revere and navarro, I now honestly think the Royals didn't deserve that W. It wasn't clean. f***ing umps, they always find a way to f*** us

Great season but I think we shoulda won this one. And hopefully it won't take us 20 years to get back in the playoffs FFS.

What was the forum saying about the HR in the 2nd? Clearly that ball was not going out, and social media has been exploding over it. Ridiculous IMO. Did anyone agree with the call?

Season was awesome. I feel like I just got kicked in the guts, but guess what, that feels better then feeling nothing. Year after year of being out of it in August, makes a person almost forget what it feels like to witness baseball that actually matters. My leg has been shaking for the last 4 hours, I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Nobody in their right mind does, but like 10% of me can understand the umps decision, given the rules in place.

What has to happen in replays is the correct call. Why does it matter if the on-field umpire f***ed up? It's a double if the replay ump doesn't know the call on the field. That's the only fair way to do it.

We were pissed. But then some of us thought maybe they didn't want that guy to get Steve Bartman'ed so they let the call stand. It's all BS at the end of the day...

Lost on my 25th birthday and couldn't be any prouder of this team. Amazing run

Was a great club and amazing run. Extremely proud to be a Jays fan, good times ahead. Excellent thread.

Happy Birthday bro!

So so so so so upset with how the umps handled several situations in that game. So upset. Proud of the team, but my anger is overriding that proudness right now.

2016 can't come soon enough. Redemption on my mind.

This ALDS certainly hurts as this is the only Blue Jays team that I've seen personally that experienced a heartbreaking loss in a series. I was not around for the 1985 heartbreak, 1989 and 1991 ALCS's were never in the grasp, and we had won all the 92/93 ALCS/WS in six games. Ironically, we get to experience a bit of how the 92 Braves and 93 Phillies fans probably felt after their game 6's of the World Series; on both occasions they had won Game 5 to get it to game 6, tie it/take the lead late in the game in game 6 only to fall short in the end, kind of like us here.

But hey, winning wouldn't feel so good if it was all that easy. Sweet ain't sweet without the sour. Let's hope for bigger joys ahead for the 2016 and beyond.

Same here. Lineups returning. We're probably going to lock Estrada in on a multi or get a draft pick for him, and lock up Donaldson for a loooooooooooooooong time. We got lots of money now. We sign or trade for a starter and bullpen pieces we'll be prime. We have Revere, Navvy and Colabello as excellent trade candidates. Great makeup for next year.

Wat? *sighs*

We have a lot to be grateful about this season.

I, for one, I'm grateful for:

Having Josh Donaldson, Marco Estrada, Troy Tulowitzki, Ben Revere, David Price, Chris Colabello, Devon Travis and Russell Martin on this team, all tremendous acquisitions by AA during the course of the last 12 months.

The emergence of Roberto Osuna, Kevin Pillar and Ryan Goins.

The unbelievable defensives plays of Kevin Pillar, Ryan Goins, Troy Tulowitzki and Josh Donaldson

Having the pleasure of watching Mark Buerhe and RA Dickey every five days.

Watching Aaron Sanchez grow as a starter and excel as a reliever.

Watching EE having an incredible offensive run in august and september.

Jose Bautista still being Jose Bautista at 35.

Russell Martin gun down steal attemps.

Making the post-season.

And last but not least, waving Jose Reyes a long overdue goodbye.

So, a very fun year. If you like baseball as much as winning it all, 2015 was an excellent season, a season to remember.

The image I will forever keep of the 2015 season is Josh Donaldson selfishly leaping into the stands to save a perfect game for Marco Estrada, get back up and smiling from ear to ear with balll in glove. What Blue Jay fan can ever forget that?

Boy, that was fun!

I am grateful, but if I'm being honest, I'm also slightly heartbroken. I feel like I've been through the wringer, it was a brutal postseason overall. Here's to hoping our next trip there will be a little kinder. I know the Cubs got swept and we didn't, but at least their NLDS went well, we got off to nightmare starts in both series. But at least we made it after all these years, and hopefully will again before too long. It was definitely one hell of a ride.

Prior to this season I had zero interest in baseball. Figured the pace was way to slow and the game was filled with a bunch of guys who spent too much time spitting and scratching their balls. Athletes? Gimme a break. Nothing there worth wasting my time on. Then the Blue Jays - Canada's team - started hitting the news and I thought what the heck, why not take in a couple of games.

By the time the third game I was watched was over, I was completely and totally hooked. I had no idea that it was this exciting or that these guys really were athletes - shame on me. I whole-heartedly jumped on the wagon and never ever thought of jumping back off no matter how dire the situation appeared - actually, the more intense it became, the more my interest was peaked. I had to see what these guys would do with their backs against the wall. They never disappointed me and I never missed a single game. After they won the ALS against the Rangers, I went out and bought myself a Blue Jay's ball cap which I proudly wore everywhere. I talked about the team every chance I got. I was involved.

Watching the game last night was excruciating, they had come from behind so many times before surely they could do it again. I won't comment on the game because my knowledge of baseball is sadly lacking but I was with them all the way up to the final strike-out. I felt like crying but at the same time I couldn't help but think that this was a team that has most of the components necessary to take them all the way - they just need a few fixes here and there. They had such an outstanding season and I will be fan of theirs for all the years to come. Thank you Blue Jays.

And hopefully they had this effect on thousands more!

Great story. love to hear this. More the merrier! (and more fans=more revenue and hopefully more invested in the Jays)

I'm so pissed, we should have won that game 6 and at least played game 7 tonight.

They gave us all the chances in the world to win it and the only one who took his shots was Jose, so sad to go out like this.

Ya, I'm not pissed but they definitely didn't play as well in the ALCS as they did the second half of the season, so that's disappointing

I'm happy with the result of the season

What a great year

Not even that upset they lost last night

2015 was a success and they put on a great show for us. I was entertained.

Congratulations on a successful season

It was the first time in my life ever seeing the Blue Jays in the playoffs, and it was a joy to watch. There were many highs and lows, but it was a season I'll never forget. Game 5 of the ALDS was one for the ages.

With so many great players on the team it can be hard to chose a favorite but early on Brett Cecil captured my attention and I quickly became a huge fan. Maybe he wasn't the 'bringer of rain' or 'superman pillar' or Edwing but there was something about him - his steadiness on the mound, his composure and ability to deliver when it really mattered that had me in his corner all the way. When he was injured, I cried. When I knew he wouldn't be back for the play-offs, I was crushed. I sure hope he stays with the team because I am ordering a Blue Jays jersey with his name and number on it and I will wear proudly next year for every single game.

P.S.Guys..........I'm a woman. ;)

Sent my dick pic, check your PMS.

I know we've had many male posters pretending to be female in the past, but I have been doing some recruiting on other fan sites, so keep the assumptions to a minimum and be respectful to all new posters until they aren't respectful back. We know how group mentality gets around here and often all it takes is one "she's got a dick" message and the place blows up.

I am still pissed. We should have won game 6.

Happy with the season overall but to lose like that? Sour taste still

In the same way you could say "should have lost game 5 of the DS"
