Yeah, that’s a pretty massive hammer if the reporting is accurate. The Clippers situation always felt like it could get ugly once the league started digging into the Kawhi/endorsement stuff. If Leonard is actually cleared to join Toronto, that would be wild on so many levels. Obviously health is the giant question with him, but even a managed-minutes Kawhi changes the ceiling of a team fast. I’d be cautiously excited, but also very ready for the “he’s out tonight” updates.
